"Very beautiful!"

"We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at Hotel Xcaret Arte. We received to fill out the list of activities, and we did it, we said the reason to visit this hotel. The day of our anniversary we went to a restaurant for dinner and to celebrate, they asked if we are celebrating something and we told them, but nothing happen, no celebration, at least we expected a plate with piece of cake and letter say "Happy anniversary" or something, but nothing. For me I do not care, but for my wife is a big deal. We tried to do this kind of trip for the last five years and this is the first time that nothing happens, very disappointed. We have a picture where we celebrate with a piece of cake our anniversary each but not this time. I know Xcaret wants to charge for everything, but for a piece of cake saying Happy Anniversary is too much. And we left a Tip to the Waitress for nothing. And is worst when see a lot of videos from other people that celebrate birthdays of Anniversaries with those kinds of attentions that we did not have. "

"The Ventus Ha part of this El Cid complex is the newest and most chilled. There are 4 pools, 2 main pools and 2 rooftop infinity pools. The rooms are large and clean and housekeeping keep them that way. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I had the Platinum package, which comes with butlers to help you with reservations or whatever you want really. My butlers were Saul and You can eat in all of the restaurants across the El Cid complex, but my favourite was Aakat, the staff and food at this restaurant are the best! The Kobo is also good and you can ask for a vegetarian option here too. I also had lovely meals at Marina and Il de France. There are lots of activities such as, bike rides into town, aquafit, tai chi, spanish lessons, all free across the El Cid sites. Pool chairs were never an issue and bar service around the pool is okay. If I did have one area where I think they could improve, it would be the standard of the house wines. I was travelling by myself for this trip, so didn't want to buy a whole bottle for myself for the evening meal and had to stick to house wines. That said, staff aren't stingy with the wine and are always happy to top up if you like more than one glass with your meal. Ventus Ha is a great place to spend your vacation. I recommend it and will be coming again in the future. Thanks for a lovely stay."

"Services are awesome and the staffs are professional. Well trained. The food qualities are great especially dinner but the regular buffet is horrible low quality and not much selections, 3 Star rating. Cafe was okay, 3.5 Star rating."

"Extremely unpleasant on all accounts. First, stench of sea weed everywhere. Beach was closed. The pools were very crowded and noisy. Service everywhere was very slow. Tried to upsell time shares at the Grand - signed us up without consent and then kept calling at 7:30 am to find out why we were not there for the "tour." Food at the buffets was minimal, cold and stale. Other restaurants barely gave any food - portion sizes small. Room service was always 1-1:30 hr wait no matter what time of day or night. And they never picked up after - had to wait for housekeeping the next day. Transport within the facility was very sporadic. We had seniors and had to wait nearly 1 hour to get transport from the wedding lawn to the hotel room despite asking staff to call for the golf carts. Housekeeping did not respect the privacy sign. As Expedia VIP, we were supposed to get an upgrade - which did not materialize. Spa service was pathetic. we had to pay $12 for oil! And, it was CBD oil - which we were not told ahead of time. They gouge you at every turn. They entice you with $500 credits which you can barely use on anything useful, and they charge 16% "tax" on it. Please stay way from this resort."
