"Staff was amazing. The facilities are great. Well maintained and clean. The size of the room was fantastic. May need a de-humidifier to help the rooms to not be so damp. This is our 10th trip to Cancun, first time at Haven. The pool are fantastic — 3 sections to choose from with ample space, seating, and sun exposure as well as seating on the beach. The only reasons we have it an overall 4 stars is because: the food in the buffet was lacking flavor, the menu at the pools - very limited, the Italian restaurant had a great view, but was lacking (esp the desserts, which seem to come from the buffet). Also, at the Italian restaurant - The lettuce at the salad bar was wilted and not cold. We didn’t see all the talent, the magician was lacking but the acrobats were great and the lobby band was great (singing Eagles, Kings of Leon, etc). Be warned that the ocean is full of seaweed and much of that seaweed has accumulated on the beach and smells awful. We love walking on the beach, but we really couldn’t do that here. Nobody really sat at the beach or got in the water. I wish they would offer more fitness classes —like yoga later in the day. I don’t want to wake up before 8 AM while I’m on vacation. I question whether or not all of the water was filtered. We brushed our teeth with the water in our room, but did not swallow. Both my husband and I got upset stomachs. I wonder if they use filtered water to cook, clean plates, cups, and flatware. Great value for the cost. ."

"The food was good and the pools were great. The beach though was another story. Besides the sargassum, it was not well maintained and eroded. Some palm trees are getting ready to fall due to it. The room was up to date but make sure you close patio door because animas will get in. When we checked into our room there was ground coffee on the floor and opened sugar packets. We called the receptionist and were told that probably an animal got into the room. We checked the patio door and it was left open by someone. They said that those animals (I don't remember the name now) can open the door. Imagine how we felt about it! Thinking that they can open the door and enter while we are asleep! Thank God that did not happen because we made sure that while we stayed there we have not had any incidents."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The resort was beautiful, clean, and incredibly well maintained. The staff went above and beyond to make every part of the trip enjoyable. A special shoutout to Ariz, our butler who had gone above and beyond throughout our stay accommodating our requests, scheduling and even down to the room making it an intimate special vacation for me and my partner. Santiago had welcomed us into Route 66 and made us feel like we had known eachother as long term friends. Manuel at the steakhouse made our last night enjoyable and ensured our experience was top notch! The food exceeded expectations with lots of variety, fresh options, and great restaurants to choose from. Drinks were consistently good, and service around the pool and beach was excellent. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, and cleaned thoroughly every day. There was always something to do whether you wanted entertainment, excursions, relaxing by the pool, or even enjoying the suite itself. Overall, this was the perfect balance of fun and relaxation, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free vacation. Already planning a return trip!"

"We had a really great 3-night stay at Cancún resort. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our trip. The staff were honestly one of the best parts of the experience , everyone was friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything we needed, which made us feel very welcomed. The food options were awesome with plenty of variety, and we really enjoyed trying different meals throughout our stay. The resort atmosphere was fun and relaxing, and we truly enjoyed our time there. The only small issue we noticed was that the swimming pool seemed a little dirty at times, but aside from that, we had no major complaints at all. Overall, it was a memorable stay and we had an amazing time in Cancun. We would definitely consider coming back again."

"There were certain areas on the resort that smelt like sewer so when we swept out of our room building 94 that’s all you smell and it was horrible there was alot of bugs and roaches that get through the doors the tub wasn’t cleaned right"
