"Hotel consists of a main building and an annex. Reception is actually at level 7 accessed via calle Helsinki. There is a card access gate at level 1 to go to beach. Hotel facilitated a move from annex to main building after day 1. Loved second room. Good breakfast selection. Elevator did a couple of odd things during our stay and one not in use."

"This is the perfect stay if you are looking for somewhere in Playa del Ingles / Maspalomas to call a home base for a bit. The (two) pools are gorgeous, and you have dedicated loungers and an umbrella. I stayed in the Premium Apartment 121, which was heavenly. It is steps from the beach and also right next to the Cita, which has a grocery store for essentials. The staff was helpful getting anything you need, including 3am transport to the airport! "My 11th visit to Playa del Ingles but the first time at these apartments. Communication before trip was great and check in seemless (although I didn’t note his name). Apartment was all I could wish for as a solo traveller,with nice touch of Prosecco on arrival. Restaurants, supermarket and entertainment nearby and very handy for the beach. Room cleaned on request and the whole block was kept maintained and spotless by the lovely Rodrigo and Imna. A wonderful chilled week and can’t wait to...

"We stayed at the hotel for one week and were overall very pleased with our stay. The location is nice with free shuttle buses to both Playa del Inglès and Maspalomas beach. Clean and quiet rooms with comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Tatiana. We will definately return. "

"I have stayed many times at Axel Beach and is always enjoyable. While you do pay a little more compared to other hotels nearby; the room are clean & spacious and the pool area is friendly and relaxed. The staff are very friendly, especially Javier in the Pool Bar. I would recommend Axel Beach to anyone within the LGBTQ community. "
