"Great location for sightseeing. Easy to get to from Midway or OHare with the Monroe train stop right outside the door. 2 blocks to Millennium Park. Friendly and helpful customer service: thank you to Robyn who assisted us with an early check in. Building and rooms are older but clean and comfortable, plus an older building is part of the charm of staying downtown. Lots of shopping and restaurants within easy walking distance."

"Great location and very busy on the weekends. You can do a lot better for parking on Spothero.com. Try it! The property is an aging up Hilton from the 1990’s. Comfortable, brown and beige and in need of an overhaul. But the pool is rather majestic. Sky high, glass enclosed, well heated and open very early. That goes a long way for me."

"Stayed here because it was very convenient. Right across the street from the auditorium theater. St. Patrick’s Day parade, the next day, not far from the hotel. Very walkable. Terrific room with a great view, only downside it was chilly in the room, would love to have had more heat."

"River Hotel is located right in the center, saves you lots of time for transportation. Hop-on-off bus is across, famous river walk is at your feet. Boat rides are in 5 min walking distance. Room was very clean, towels changed every day, a/c was relatively quiet and could be set at your liking. Amazing flowless check in and out, front desk staff very friendly and helpful as well. I have recommended this hotel to my friends."
