"We had a warm welcome from the moment we arrived , with clear instructions prior to arrival as well. The breakfast as mentioned in previous reviews was the best that we have had in Costa Rica and likewise we were treated to a wonderful home cooked three course meal at a very reasonable price. We loved the peaceful surroundings with nature on the doorstep including trails into the forest. We loved our stay and just wish we had planned to stay longer."

"Clean room. Very nice staff. Beautiful property. Amazing amount of animal life on property. Hummingbirds right outside our little porch all day. Had breakfast and a la carte which was good. We did not do the dinner buffet. Loved the feel of the lodge with the library and games. Just a beautiful place overall. "

"Die Finca Azul bietet einen großartigen Ausblick. Das gesamte Gelände umfasst mehrere Hektar und bietet dabei friedliche Abgeschiedenheit. Das Bungalow samt Bad waren einwandfrei sauber. In der Nacht kann man das Rauschen des Flusses hören. Zu beachten ist, dass für die Anreise wärmstens ein Auto mit Allradantrieb und hohem Radstand empfohlen wird. Die Familie um Jeny und Warren nimmt die Gäste herzlich auf und bezieht sie, sofern gewollt, auch in kleinere Aktivitäten des Alltags ein. Bemerkenswert sind die herausragenden Kochkünste von Warren. Dabei unterstützen seine Kinder tatkräftig beim servieren der Speisen. Es gibt auch sehr freundliche Hunde auf dem Hof. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt, guten Schlaf, leckeres Essen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Dann allerdings mit einem Geländewagen. Herzlichen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft! "Great room with a lovely view from the balcony, quiet, comfortable bed, staff were lovely and very helpful. Pool area was nice and restaurant food was good. Lots of local wildlife can be seen on the site (howler monkeys, macaws, toucans)."
