We attended the Saturday Market at Alderney Landing and took the ferry over to the Halifax waterfront. We find Dartmouth easy to get around.

There is a lot to do in Dartmouth, while we did spend a couple hours in Halifax staying in Dartmouth especially where this hotel is based was great. We drove so we didn't need walking distance. Very close to Dartmouth crossing!
