This town has a lot of history both an ancient (Troy) and More recent (Dardanelles campaign ) and of course excellent sea food, definitely need a few days to see it all.

The ancient city of Troy is only 40km away. But on the Canakkkale waterfront you'll find the actual wooden horse that was in the film with Brad Pitt. It's so much nicer than the one at Troy itself.
