There are some amazing places to eat in Tyler. If you enjoy great BBQ go to Rudy's. Great home cooked food Daniel Boones has got it. There is always so much to do when you are in tyler from dining to shopping to everything in between.

We recommend people should come in spring for the Azalea celebration. Even though we were in town on a rainy day, driving around the Azalea district was so beautiful.

Tyler is the perfect blend of small town charm meets big city amenities. Tyler has great schools (colleges) and there is plenty to do to stay busy (if that's what you're looking for). The people are friendly. I love the small town feel of Tyler.

More laid back than in Houston. Tyler's drivers are little aggressive though. Watch yourself.
"The front desk employee was so sweet and accommodating. I really wish I would have got her name. For some odd my reason my card did not process and she knew I was there for a death of a family member. She said your card did not process but we did not want to bother you with your reasoning for being here. I paid my bill in the morning with no issues. She was so unbelievably kind. "
