Great place close to Yoho national park and the Kicking horse river. Loads of activities to do in and near the town. Golden skybridge itself is a huge attraction. White water rafting in Kicking horse river and the grizzly refuge are amazing as well.

We love to visit golden. Ski in the winter and golf your lovely course in the summer. Love the walking path along the river downtown and the quaint little restaurants there.

This can be a basecamp. One of the park's national historical places of interest is Rogers Pass, located 68.0 km (about 42.25 miles) from Revelstoke and 80.9 km (about 50.26 miles) from Golden. The Pass is named after Major A.B. Rogers.

Golden is growing! There are stores, restaurants, and accommodations popping up everywhere! Lots of construction going on. The small downtown area was inviting.

Town is easy to navigate, downtown had many fun restaurants. We enjoyed Reposados.
"We had a great experience during our recent stay. The location was perfect – easy to find, very walkable, and close to everything we needed. We felt completely safe walking around the area, even at night.
The hotel itself was clean and well-kept. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.
There were plenty of dining options nearby, which made meals super convenient. Whether we wanted a quick bite or a sit-down dinner, there was something for everyone just steps away.
Overall, a smooth and enjoyable stay. Would definitely come back!"
"Room had good quality beds and bedding..A king bed made the room too small.
Toilet seat too low for average height people..as well as seniors with mobility issues.
Name not very visible on building as on booking sheet.
Google had trouble finding it !"
