I visit Benton Harbor about once every couple of years but always tell myself I should come more often. Along the lakefront is a beautiful park and it's perfectly setup to have dinner and watch some spectacular sunsets. Good eats and shopping too.

We enjoyed downtown Benton harbor and the beach. However there is limited parking and gets chaotic on the weekends.

Great city with a bad name. Which is very unfortunate because Benton Harbor and the residents here are very friendly and they all seemed very proud to call Benton harbor home.

"The hotel was pretty comfortable. Room had a lot of space and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t have a shower curtain when we arrived so the lady at the desk handed us one and said we could do it because it was easy to put up, otherwise we had to wait until she had time because she was busy. Our phone in the room didn’t work and they didn’t fix it or even look at it during the 3 days we were there. The staff was pretty rude whenever we had to ask for anything. "
"Check in with Kendall was effortless. He is an outstanding employee, super helpful, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. My friends and I had an excellent stay to attend our 55th class reunion. Definitely will be back to Marriott Courtyard for our 60th or maybe sooner! Thank you to Kendall and all the super staff. "
