"A 2 block walk from Grand Central Station with several subway lines. End of LIRR line from Jamaica/ Air Train from JFK airport only 22 mins. Easy 15 min walk to Times Square. Room was small like most of this type of NYC hotel but bathroom was large with powerful hot shower and always hot water. We had a small balcony with view of Empire State Building. Never waited more than 1 minute for the lift to or from our floor. All staff were polite and professional, especially front desk. Free coffee in room and also from 7:00am in restaurant, plus pastries to purchase. Our room on 15th floor was generally quiet. Only minor niggle was (when jet-lagged) housekeeping woke us early when pushing a trolley of glass bottles outside the room, then stopping to talk on the radio. Would stay here again, particularly if visiting the east side."

"My stay was great. Best sleep ever in a hotel. Quiet for NY and super comfortable. Although the restaurant is separate, their food was not good for myself or my friend who had a pasta dish. Spent $70 on a steak covered in butter without any flavor. I couldn’t believe it. "

"Room was clean and area was very walkable. Less than 10 min walk to Times Square and surrounding shopping Aves. Stayed at this specific hotel twice, but I’ve been a fan of Club Quarter’s hotels for a while now. Was also surprised to find out the hotel is pet friendly due to a last minute change in my pet’s arrangements back home."
