Grand Hyatt Barcelona
10/10 Excellent
"The room was modern and comfortable. 24hr room service was excellent, fast and affordable. Perfect for jet lagged appetites first day/ night.
The restaurants are all excellent. The lobby coffee shop was excellent. The concierge staff ( Valerie) was excellent and helpful. Overall, a great place for overseas visitors. Location is good and property is well run. The gym was okay ( could use more ventilation) !"
"This is my go to hotel when visiting Barcelona. Not to far from La Rambla but far enough to aboid the noisy night life. Still walking distance from many great locations."
"The staff at Rialto was very helpful and patient. Very good location and room wasn't fancy but very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding! I would definitely stay here again."
"Overall this is a 5 star Hotel. The room was great and housekeeping was excellent, the breakfast staff and food choices at the buffet were good to accommodate anyone's taste and preferences, the coffee machine was down on our last day but the staff was quick to make our coffee of choice and bring it to our table. The staff was very good when I had question about the Metro service, which we took advantage of since the taxi fees can add up quick, it is a great way to get around and sometimes quicker than a taxi due to traffic. Easy once you figure out the entry and exit, and destinations to get around anywhere in Barcelona. The only shortcoming was at the check in when we arrived early due to coming in of a cruise ship, we had to wait until check in time which was 3PM, we arrived around 9AM. The lobby was full of people waiting on their room and no one was let in until it was time not one minute before, Being a little tired and not really being familiar with the area we just waited hoping they would call us in early, but it did not happen. Would highly recommend since it is very nice and close enough to all the areas of interest."
"Hotel location - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ right out the front entrance lots of homeless people. 4 securities by the entrance. lobby was basic compared to other Nobu hotels. Pool? More like a jacuzzi. Rooftop was view was the only thing that’s beautiful.
Front desk staff no name tag who checked us in was condescending. “You just booked a standard room want an upgrade? “ when asked about transportation to airport “we have a private van you can book but it’s expensive or walk 10mins for a public shuttle. “ we ended up using Uber
Bellman - Nelson ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ was the opposite of that lack of customer experience clerk. Nelson was super nice and very welcoming. Helped us with our luggage’s and told us about the property. Even got us a reservation at Nobu restaurant.
Matteo- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️waiter at Nobu restaurant was excellent
Nuria- breakfast staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ friendly and helpful
Bellman- Santiago was very helpful during checkout"
