Also close to old town centre for restaurants and bars.
A little tied, but clean.
Air conditioning not working during our stay but allegedly being upgraded.

"We had a sea view room and the location is gorgeous. It’s right in a pedestrian square and there are lots of shops and restaurants. There is no onsite parking, you have to park about a block away at a car park. Not far to walk though."

"An amazing historic house, over 300 years old! Great hosts Agnes and Claude. A lovely breakfast. Location great for our morning ferry crossing back to the UK."

"Midweek stay, Not too noisy, considering lots of workers and vans stopping. Reception was clean, breakfast sufficient, they kept it stocked. Our room was not the best. Poor lighting, the shower was broken so we had to tie up the shower head to keep it in place. Very, very small en-suite with a shower curtain that kept wrapping round your body. Beds firm, pillows were lumpy and the pillow cases had small black marks on them (fortunately I always take my own pillow case with me as a fresh cover)....

"A lovely, quiet hotel with a very welcoming owner!
There was not much choice of restaurants close by- but we ate at the hotel and it was very good. Fish soup recommended!
The room was comfortable and the bed even more so.
The secure parking was a bonus.
We would definitely stay here again if in the area. "

"Lovely lady on reception, bar and loads of seats. Room small but ok, bed comfy, shower good. Overall it was good, close to shops and places to eat plus free parking."

"What a beautiful place to stay, the property is set in a lovely idyllic setting surrounded by countryside. The rooms were lovely and comfortable and the staff were absolutely excellent and super friendly. The breakfast was lovely too. This is by far the nicest place we have stayed at on our motorbike trip around France. If you book here you will not be disappointed. 5 Stars."

"Very pleasant two day stay in the Saint-Malo region away from the crowded coast for a couple and a golden retriever. Staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful.
It is set in the grounds of an abbey with extensive, well-maintained grounds overlooking a lake. It's a great place to relax before and after visiting Saint-Malo.
The premises have been carefully removated while retaining as much of the heritage as possible.
We opted on one evening for the no choice six course menu which was developed...
