"Nice hotel"

"Lovely property that is eco-conscious. It’s smaller than it appears in photos so there’s little privacy in the common areas, if you value that. Pool also tiny. The room was large and very comfortable but not too stylish! (Some natural wood and stone elements would help). Yoga studio was stunning, barrel vaulted ceiling tho the one class we attended was no fun (Kundalini yoga, anyone? All breath training.) there are other classes apparently. Good japonese restaurant just steps away!"

"I truly felt right at home during my stay at One Cancun Centro Hotel. The entire facility was comfortable, clean, and very well organized. The staff was incredibly friendly and went the extra mile to make my visit as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. I also really appreciated the private pool area, the spotless lobby, and the convenience of having reasonably priced snacks, sodas, water, and fresh sandwiches available at any time. "Great location, very nice hotel and great staff. But, honestly, their bedding really needs to be updated and I told them this: the mattress was hard as a rock and seemed old. But the rain head shower in the bathroom was amazing and all else was good. In spite of the above I would probably stay again."

"We were on the 3rd floor. We seen the marina but we also seen air conditioners fans right in front so isn’t a place for good views. Also we were dealing with a lot of flies. Overall could have used a microwave in the rooms"

"The hotel was small (12 rooms) and new and very clean. The staff were exceptional. Sylvia and Gloria did a great job keeping the rooms and the pool area superbly clean. Francisco was very accommodating with any requests and Jose could answer just about any questions we had. We stayed in the 2-bedroom unit for 3 weeks and it was very spacious. There was a 3-burner induction stove but only one frying pan and a spatula so if you're planning to do any cooking, it would not be very practical. We asked for an additional pot and was given a frying pan and a small pot which worked out great. Keep in mind there are no cutting boards or knives so even with the pots, it would be limited in what meals can be prepared. We took cutting knives and a few small spatulas so we were good. There was no microwave in the room but we were fine with that. The hotel is centrally located - 15 to 20 minutes walk to Chedraui, ADO bus station and Parque la Palapas. There is a secure gate that you have to use a code to get it so it was very safe. All in all, I think with a few small additions (e.g. coffee/end tables, more cookware and food prep tools, hair dryer, mirror in each bedroom) this would be a wonderful place for long terms stays. There was a small cafe/bar in front of the pool which was hardly ever used but each morning, Fernando played good opera and concert music which was great to listen to. We hope to return soon!! "
