Self service guesthouse.

The room was great, very clean. All the "service" was done remotely, Pick up our own key, Hang up the key when one leaves, serve yourself breakfast. (it was a bit basic), The home made jam was excellent. The self service was not a major problem, but extra instructions/guidance would have prepared us as to what to expect. (little things such a local street map on the hotel website).

We can't fault our stay - the room was clean, parking was easy, breakfast was great and the hosts were very helpful throughout. Perfect location for lots of local attractions. We stayed for 3 nights and climbed Yr Wyddfa one day (approx 40 mins drive), visited Betwys Y Coed (~20 mins) and Zip world (less than 5 min). Thank you!

The hostess and staff were very friendly and the guest house was in area with beautiful scenery. Breakfast was well prepared and just as described,“”Grab and go“ “so that we could take it back to the table in our room. It was slightly further from Snowdon’s Llanberis trail than we had at first thought. We were given very up-to-date information by the host and provided with suggestions for Gastro pubs in the area which, were excellent recommendations. Very good value for money.

The place is a delight. Well designed & well equipped bedrooms and a checkin process using WhatsApp which is highly efficient. Good breakfast you can collect and walk a few yards back to bed. Only think I could find remotely needing improvement was supplying the breakfast milk in an open jug rather than a cooler of some type I read through the few negative reviews and would agree with the owners comments in each case

Situated in a beautiful place, hills and cliffs and water all around us. Lovely gent to greet us with his loveable dog who just wants fussing. Room was great, there was some coffee stains down the side of the bed on the wall and the door was covered in what looked to be a wet dog shaking it self dry and it splashing the door. A minimal conversion of a chapel with no guest lounge or breakfast room. We left after one night and dumped the second night after a sleepless night due to no blackout on window and breakfast in room offer being substandard. No cooperation from owner.

A little too loud, a little too cold.

Good communication when arriving and knowing where to park, how to get in etc. Shower powerful, bed comfortable. However, the room was cold and never got warm. Messaged hosts who said it would come on automatically as was chilly when we arrived, Got warmer but not warm enough. Sound proofing? Nope.. next door's bathroom fan was so loud and they had it on until nearly 1am. I had messaged hosts at 10.30pm, but didn't get a reply. Very disappointing. Breakfast was okay but fairly limited with toast made and then left until cleared away. Some updating needed as door to bathroom splintered, decor a little dated, main light wouldn't come on. After not getting a reply regarding noise, didn't bother mentioning it.
