The room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. There is some street noise when you have your window open at night. I was still able to sleep but many hotels in the main area would have the same problem if you are near the pubs.

No frills but convenient.

This is a great choice if you just need a place to sleep because you're going to be gone all day doing tourist stuff. Good location, good value, nice amount of space in the room. There was no t.v. (which is fine, just unusual) and the bed wasn't especially luxurious. One of the light fixtures worked only occasionally. I would stay there again with no hesitation if I was on a budget. We were worried it would be loud, being above a bar, and while we could hear people downstairs, it was never so obtrusive that we couldn't sleep, just a quiet murmur.

Simple room but it was clean and and the beds were comfortable and fairly priced. The restaurant was super busy but the employee immediately dropped what he was doing to get us checked in so that was greatly appreciated. Was fine for one night in Inverness

It was a very convenient basic room, exactly where and when we needed it. Although the room was over a bar and adjacent to a roof top bar, the soundproofing was excellent. We heard a lot of street noise but none from the building.

Great place for a one-night stop - no frills but shower was great and staff super friendly. Bed was unfortunately very hard and pillow flat so I didn’t sleep particularly well, but it was fine for a night. Location hard to beat and the bar downstairs is great!

Very basic rooms but great location

Very basic room with shower. No tv in room and nowhere to put clothing as no drawers or wardrobe. Location is great and central for just about everything. Staff helpful and when we asked for additional pillows they delivered them to the room within 10 minutes. Could do with a wee refresh of paint
