This review comes from a person who sadly walks around looking for what’s wrong, and I’m super picky. I also pay good money and expect better when I do. I’m hard to please.
This property was “untouchable”. Hidden 2 blocks off the loud beaten path, built up and against to the mountains present, this hotel is a touch of Zen. Super clean, all staff speak English, you are hidden from from the trash, zoo atmosphere of Krabi. The pool is fantastic, only 24 rooms so you feel as if the whole hotel is just yours. The rooms were great, clean, plenty of space, great bed, better air conditioning, and the staff does everything for you.
Now I had a backed up toilet which I found overflowing upon our return from sight seeing, and the toilet/bathroom reeked. I’m not okay with this although they had 6 people cleaning it and 15 minutes later all the as perfect and the smell was gone. Sadly they did nothing for my bill although I had no bathroom for 24 hours, and it flooded the next day. They offered me a free breakfast, to which I said “”keep it”. It was wrong of them how they handled it.
But that shouldn’t take away from how perfect this place is as all the other hotel occupants were raving about the place as well. What happened in my room, was a “one off occurrence”! This hotel was a gem, and we came from The Boathouse in Phuket, which is 5 star. This place measured up in every way. All you hear when there are the birds, and silence.
Trust me… I would stay no where
