Great choice if you are in the area.

A comfortable little spot in the Lake region. Clean, spacious room with lovely views. Breakfast was so-so, but everything else was really nice. Friendly, helpful staff.

I have never stayed in a place like this before. We were asked to take our shoes off to walk around inside and the guests mingled in the common areas - it was all very cosy and friendly. Different sections had their own bathroom, so even though we had to share we only had to share with two other rooms. The rooms were roomy and had their own sink which was nice. Comfortable beds. I would definitely recommend Stong Guesthouse

This property was really out in the middle of nowhere. It was a cute place but I wish we'd chosen something closer to everything. The room was very basic and took a while to warm up with the radiator. Those were really the only downsides. The staff was nice and the hot tubs were good. We pet some gorgeous horses coming down the driveway!

Ça a commencé par une déception car pas de coin cuisine disponible. Mais ça a été l’occasion de tester le restaurant où on a excellemment bien mangé pour un prix plus que correct pour l’Islande (4500 couronnes pour soupe du jour + agneau de la ferme). Et un des meilleurs petits déjeuners de tous ceux qu’on a eu en Islande. En plus personnel super accueillant. Et pour finir accès au Hot pot gratuit pour se délasser après longue journée de balade autour de Mývatn

The guesthouse was located in a beautiful countryside area just a couple of miles off the main road from Myvatn. The staff was friendly, and we liked that they had postcards, stamps, and some locally made Icelandic wool sweaters for purchase. Our room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated its private bathroom. We visited the restaurant for some evening wine to relax after a day of travel, and the breakfast was tasty and convenient before we headed out to continue our adventure.
