Nice hotel. 1 night stay over Just disappointed in the food - completely tasteless evening meal. The basics - Fish, chips and peas - totally unseasoned and dry Pre-booking for breakfast also went out 30 years ago

A fantastic hotel!

Stayed for one night on a work trip and was not disappointed! The welcome was warm and friendly, and the room spacious, comfortable, and immaculately clean (I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel this clean!). Great food with a good selection of drinks, and a vast choice of whisky. The service was wonderful throughout, and I'll certainly be staying here again.

Enjoyed our stay at the Laichmoray for a night as my partner was going to a retirement party for work, always enjoy staying here when I go a trip to Elgin as the rooms are lovely and bed so comfortable breakfast was very good also

Weddings at the Laichmoray Hotel

Wonderfull non-chain hotel. Spotless superb rooms, beautifully cooked food, both dinner and breakfast. Easy on site parking, and short walk to the town centre. Wedding facilities were brilliant.

We wanted to revisit Elgin having moved away 44 years ago. I knew of the hotel then and was quite happy to go there again. The rooms were fine, the breakfast very good indeed, the staff were friendly and courteous.

Stayed one night to split a journey. Hotel was easy to find with lots of parking. Friendly staff, helpful check-in and attentive in nice restaurant. Food was excellent both evening meal and large breakfast. Room neat and tidy with modern clean bathroom

Great stay and terrific breakfast.

Great stay in a comfy clean room. On the ground floor so could hear movement upstairs but overall a really enjoyable wee break. As always, staff were great and food was fantastic. Breakfast pre ordered and the note we put in to ask for bacon to be crispy was seen and noted.

The Laichmoray Hotel is a listed property. The front desk, breakfast, and restaurant staff are all very helpful, friendly, and very well organized. It is located close to shopping, Elgin High Street, and the train station. Service throughout the Hotel is outstanding.
