We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Kría. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful and inviting. One of the most memorable surprises was finding a gourmet dessert waiting for us in our room upon arrival—it was such a kind and unexpected treat. We’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, and this was a first! It set the tone for a truly special stay.
The hotel itself is stunning. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a particularly lovely bathroom and excellent amenities. We also appreciated the quality of the food—dinner was delicious, and the staff were kind and professional throughout our stay.
If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the breakfast. After five weeks of traveling through Europe, this was the most expensive hotel we stayed in—yet the breakfast felt underwhelming in comparison. The coffee, in particular, was the biggest letdown—by far the worst we’ve had on our trip. For North American travelers, it would be such a treat to have real half-and-half available instead of just milk. It’s a small detail, but one that would make a big difference.
Also, while I was excited to see that the shower included conditioner (a rare find in many hotels!), the quality didn’t quite match the rest of the experience—it smelled wonderful, but left my hair feeling dry. An upgrade here would go a long way, especially for female travelers.
Despite these small critiques, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel Kría. It’s a gorgeous property.
