It was amazing. Spacious apartment with parking out front. Moderately stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, updated place. You take the elevator to the third floor then have to walk up a set of stairs.

Check-in was automated and hassle-free. The room was clean and spacious. The location is near the center of town and accessible. I would definitely recommend this place if you are staying for a night or two. I also recommend GK bakery which is right next door.

Newer modern apartment building with basic, very clean accomodation. It is on the main street in Selfoss so walking distance to restaurants and stores, including the restaurant/bar on the ground floor. Once inside, it's very quiet with adjustable heating - perfect for windy, rainy days.

It was great for one night. Room was clean, good size for two people, water in shower was hot, and beds were pretty comfortable. There’s a restaurant downstairs with decent sandwiches. The only negative was that the room was extremely hot because of west exposure. It cooled off after sunset though and night was pretty nice.

Great stay except, good communication, however, it would be a good idea to mention in your email or on the code entry pad to use the pound key after you enter your code to gain entry. Also, turn heat down or include fans. These minor changes could easily bring you to five star.

The only issue was getting in the room. This is a self service hotel and the codes did not work. Difficult getting in touch with help. Even then had to contact them several times to get codes activated

Rooms were very spacious, quiet and comfortable! Bathroom and shower were great. We liked the key code system of room access as opposed to plastic keys. Management and housekeeping staff were very helpful and cooperative. We stayed for 5 days and in the middle, we had to transition from Booking to Expedia. Upon calling the management they made it seamless, and we did not have to switch rooms! Downsides: despite high quality Nespresso coffee pods, no sugar or milk! And no tea bags either! Breakfast was literally the same fare everyday with.no variation whatsoever! Something they should work on, if possible. But overall, a wonderful place, centrally located in Southwest Iceland and provides ready access to all spot on the Golden Circle and beyond!

Stayed stucked outside the hotel 3 times!!!

The hotel itself is fine exceptions on sunny days th room is very hot even with heating off and window open. We had a very unpleasant experience from the minute we arrived until our check our because there is no reception and nobody on site and the code system to open doors dysunctionned greatly during our stay. The code for check in was wrong, on the second day it was deactivated and the morning of check out both the entrance door and the room door locked me outside so that we needed to have somebody inside the room at ll time. We called the hotel 3 times, it lasted 30 minutes under the rain on the second day to get into the hotel. Stupid system and very bad experience. I do not recommend.
