I had an amazing stay at this hotel! It really feels like a family-owned business, and everyone was incredibly kind to me from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the air conditioning was excellent. One morning, after a long walking tour to the volcano, I hurt my ankle. Even though I hadn’t booked the next tour directly with them, the owner went out of his way to arrange another trip for me so I wouldn’t have to walk again. They are clearly very well connected in the town, and you can easily book tours through them with full confidence. They even prepared a lunchbox for me for the excursion! Overall, I highly recommend this place. Wonderful people, great service, and truly exceptional hospitality.

It's not the most exciting place to stay, however, the breakfast is great. They treat it like it's a little VRBO. They cook to order eggs, get fruit, coffee, fruit juice, delicious bread each morning. They clean the room every day. They scheduled shuttles for us. Very hospitable.

It was exactly what we needed to sleep and shower for the couple nights the 3 of us were there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I believe they are adding on but we were gone on excursions during the day and were not bothered by any construction noise. Breakfast included was lovely and slightly different each day.

Great place to stay - comfortable bed and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Easy to walk to the beach. Only downside was all the loud dogs in the neighborhood barking in the night - take earplugs if you’re a light sleeper! This has been the case at other places I’ve stayed in Galapagos that are more in the neighborhoods, so is not unique to this property. I recommend this place.

Best hotel management

The hotel manager made our stay. We got into an odd situation where a vendor booked a tour for the tunnels that didn’t exist and she helped us get our money back. She went above and beyond for us and made our trip much better. The hostal has free breakfast and is the start of where the bus for the volcano tours pick up. It also has a free bus to the ferry in the afternoon. We had a great stay here.
