Perfect lake stay.

Queen cottage we stayed in was a chalet type and very spacious with 2 very comfortable queen beds. It had small verandah where you could sit and take in the view of the lake. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Amazing Stay at Grand View Resort

Grand View Resort was much better than we expected. I had already read reviews that the place was clean (very important for my family), but it exceeded expectations with the room being so well kept and the beds were comfortable. We also loved the location which was close to everything including Weirs Beach, Meredith and other areas. It was great to have the pool on the property to relax in when we were not out and about, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. This is definitely where we would come back to stay the next time that we are visiting the area.

Priceless view of the lake.

We stayed in Cabin #9 which was beautifully remodeled including a modern bathroom with step in shower. The property is well taken care of, and it is obvious that the owners are making constant improvements. The view of the lake is spectacular. The owners are gracious and appreciative of visitors. You can walk to Kellerhaus and burn a few calories on the way down and back.

Kurt was absolutely amazing!!! Made us feel not only welcomed but went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met … the outdoor pool the kids were looking forward to by the time we got back it had been raining and by then had already stopped he made sure to bring up up the temperature and the lights in the pool were on… the kids swam that night and early morning that I went in and the water was amazing! Definitely coming back.

As its name hints to, the Grand View is appropriately named. The vista of Lake Winnipesaukee and surroundings hills/mountains is stunning, I could have spent my 3 days just appreciating the sight. The owners were friendly, helpful and offered the use of the main building's wrap around porch to enjoy more of the 'grand view.' We stayed in a motel unit and it seemed the unit was recently redone from floor to ceiling. It was inviting, clean and comfortable with a smart TV, coffeemaker and supplies as well as a microwave wave and refrigerator. The bath was supplied with abundant towels and toiletries. Outside, the grounds and pool area were well groomed and maintained. A grill is available for the guests use, if desired, but there was no true kitchenette in the unit as shown on the Expedia website. The pool area is spacious, with lounge chairs, umbrellas, floats and towels at hand. We were invited to use the fire pit, but we didn't have time to enjoy an evening under the stars. The Grand View resort is close to Weirs Beach, as well as, many areas for family fun and dining. A quick walk across property lines will direct you to a local ice cream shop. (Yes, we did enjoy a scoop or two of the homemade treat.) Looking forward to our next stay at the Grand View.
