We had such a lovely stay here. Yes, it is a bit pricy but compared to all the terrible hotels in el nido this is really value for money. We had the casita with sea view which was just beautiful. Staff was very kind and helpful! I really dont see hoe people can rate this hotel badly. Loved it!

Great staff, room and pool. The shower needs help

Like most hotelstaff in the PH, their initial default thought is to follow instructions from the management to you the letter. The staff of this hotel is very friendly and helpful. I stayed more than a week. The staff started to think outside the box and helped with many tricky things like finding a medical doctor when all clincs were closed. Dangerous to cross the road, employees are lazy, they are in the Cellular Phone. I have to ask a Toilet Paper , but 4 workers around using there cell and the same with my sister in breakfast workers are around no fresh milk,no serving spoon but they already with their cell phone. Employee is luck of training.

All staffs are extremely friendly & helpful they tried all efforts to help what we need! Ordered us the scooter we wanted to rent at very reasonable price (pp 500 / C$15 for 24 hours! So that we could go different nice beaches such as Nacpan beach & Lio beach for surfing; which are 1 hr & 1/2 hr ride respectively from Doublegem hotel! So much fun & pretty safe as people isn’t drive fast on the street! We stayed in front of the pool with direct access from the back door of our room, very convenient although there’s a swimmable beach! The restaurant of hotel connected to the beach bar everyone is so polite & friendly!! The hotel is located at about 5 mins from town by motor tricycle taxi cost only pp100 / C$3. Shopping, restaurants, market, bars!! Me, my wife & my son of 16 yrs old we all enjoy staying at Palawan so much!

Un emplacement magique, une propreté déplorable

Nous avons séjourné 5 nuits au DoubleGem, lors d’un voyage en famille (2 adultes + 2 enfants). L’hôtel bénéficie d’un emplacement de choix, en bord de plage de Corong-Corong avec vue sur la baie de Bacuit. Il dispose de plusieurs bâtiments style immeuble ainsi que des bungalows, le tout au milieu d’un joli jardin verdoyant et avec une piscine à débordement spacieuse et agréable pour les enfants. Les personnes de l’hôtel sont très serviables et à l’écoute de vos demandes. Voilà ces seuls atouts. Pour le reste, c’est la catastrophe. Des déchets partout (parties communes intérieures et extérieures: nous sommes restés 5 jours, les mêmes canettes et bouteilles de bières vides sont restées tout ce temps aux abords de la piscine), un service de chambre inexistant, une literie horrible avec des matelas durs comme si vous dormiez à même le sol, une désorganisation du personnel, un buffet de petit déjeuner de faible qualité et lentement réapprovisionné. Le prix que nous avons payé ne vaut clairement pas la qualité des services que nous avons eu. Nous avons été très déçus. Il suffirait que le ménage soit fait régulièrement dans les parties communes (abords de piscine et restaurant notamment) et que les literies soient changées pour que l’hôtel vaillent vraiment le coup 👍

Super vriendelijk hotel

Het uitzicht vanaf het hotel is hemels! Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Standaard kamer eerder beperkt in ruimte, maar met alle nodige comfort en zeer goed onderhoud, en met schaduwrijk terras. Zeer goed bed en geen last van lawaai.We hadden 2 boekingen in het hotel. Tijdens ons eerste verblijf was het ontbijt eerder beperkt, met keuze uit 4 opties, 2 continentale en 2 Filipijnse. Tijdens ons tweede verblijf was het een buffetontbijt met dus meer mogelijkheden. Mooi zwembad met zicht over de archipel. Excursies boekbaar bij het hotel.

Uitstekende locatie met fantastisch uitzicht. Nette kamer met voldoende comfort. Zeer goed bed. Uitmuntend personeel, zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt voldoende, maar beperkte keuze. A very nice stay

A very nice stay. The scenerum is absolutely georgeous, but make sure you get a room with Ocean view. The other side of the hotel is facing the main street, and you will be sorry, you did not paid that little bit extra. The staff is so sweet and helpful, the bar and the restaurant is nice (the bartender is such a cool guy :-) ) and take note the beakfast is included in the price. Only really bad thing is the AC is somewhat loud, and you need to choose between a chilles room or a loud room. It’s not a big deal, bur you should be prepared. We will definitely be back 👍

Très heureux de notre séjour à Doublegem. Le personnel est très sympathique, suite à un souci avec notre précédente chambre nous avons été surclassé. Le couché de soleil est incroyable. Les chambres sont propres. C'était un très bon moment merci.

Magnificent views. Lovely staff. Under no circumstances book a street side room. Very noisy and ultra small. Beware you need to shower at night. Cold water in the mornings. Breakfast adequate. Restaurant ,shocking. Evening Margaritas fantastic for the price .Staff very friendly. Be aware u cannot book to your room. Cash only If we were to return would book ocean side room with the great views Great pool.
