Awesome Retro Motel

This is such a cool, “art deco retro” little motel. 5 units right on the beach with a nice grassy area. Such a neat find, I was glad it was available last minute. 5-6 awesome restaurants are within a 1-2 minute walk. I'd stay here again — mostly for a 1-2 night stop.

This place is a hidden gem. It’s a tiny, one story, 5-room beachfront motel probably built in the 1950’s. Old school! But the rooms are nicely renovated, staff super friendly and helpful, check-in and out very laid-back and easy. It is right in the beating heart of NSB, a block from Flagler and all the shops and restaurants, right on the ocean. We loved it, and we’ll be back!

I really enjoyed staying at The Salty Mermaid. It is an absolutely beautiful location! It is a small hotel and doesn't seem fancy from the exterior, but it was clean and nice inside! It was probably one of the best locations you can get, as you walk right out on the beach, you have chairs and umbrellas provided, and you can walk to the shops and restaurants! I will definitely be going back!
