I was in town for work and i found the accommodations very lovely . The management is very kind. This is a classic vintage property meticulously cared for by the family that owns it. This is not a chain . This is a family operated, independent establishment. So rare these days.

This motel was absolutely adorable! I felt like I was pulling up to a fancy 70's motel. The room was bigger than most hotel rooms. The check in was easy and staff was wonderful. The only complaints would be fairly minor. They forgot to clean the fridge and the shampoo was partially used and they forgot to throw it away. The biggest complaint would be that we weren't in the room very long and our feet were black from the carpet and need professional cleaning on them. I would absolutely stay there again though and it was still a huge win from having to pay $300-$600 for a room downtown. It was an easy 20 minute drive into downtown Chicago.

Minha missao era conhecer o maior arcade do mundo, o Galoping Ghost, em Brookfield, IL, meio que um bairro afastado de Chicago. Esse hotel é a melhor opção - a dois minutos andando dos dois filperamas. Fica a 8 minutos de caminhada da estacao Congress Park e 15 minutos da Brookfield. Tem um Dunkin Donuts a 2 minutos de distância e outros restaurantes a 10-15 minutos de caminhada. É uma acomodação que deve datar da década de 70 e precisa se renovar. Carpete do quarto com aspecto de velho e encardido. Cama suficientemente boa, assim como travesseiros. Banheiro bom, limpo. Acaba que é bem justo pelo preço cobrado. Tem odor de cigarro que deve datar dos tempos em que se podia fumar onde se queria, ainda que hoje haja quarto para fumante e não fumante.

The room was okay. The beds were very firm and stiff. The first room I was in the ac went out at 3:45am and I tried calling the office several times. No answer so I had to get dressed and walk to the office and tell them. They gave me a new room with a smaller bed but at least the AC worked.

The property was clean and they had signs at check in about not putting up with noise. The cleaner was a little strong on the perfume side, but not terrible once the a/c ran for a little bit. The fitted sheet didn’t want to stay on the mattress. Over all it was clean and economical stay.
