Amazing place to stay, highly recommend!

This was mine and my partners first stay on our 2 week travel around Italy, this place made the start of the trip, it’s a very easy check in, comfy, clean and modern with very good AC! Hats off to Salvatore and the rest of his family for being great hosts! The included breakfast was a massive bonus too! I would return 100%

Great B&B style accommodations. Host was very friendly and breakfast was lovely. Was hoping we were closer to the water, but it was about a 40 minute walk. Neighborhood is quiet, but can access stores and cafes pretty quickly.

We had the room LA MAGNIFIQUE and it was very big and cosy. Very big balcony under the sun well appreciated. The only problem was a bad odour coming out of the shower drain so we had to keep the bathroom door closed to avoid the bad smell in the room. 5 minutes from the Train Station to Sorrento and to the Supermarket and 10 minutes from the Sea View. Breakfast included was appreciated and was fine. Overall we would definately go back!

Decent stay, convenient location

The host was very welcoming, and check in was easy. Villa Iolanda is conveniently located a block from the Piano di Sorrento train station. The included breakfast was lovely and a great way to start the day. Our room was a basic one, and was very moist. The bathroom had mold on the walls and the window almost needed to stay open to air the room out, despite the temperature. The shower was comfortable, however the bed in our room was not.

What an excellent property - very convenient location to either walk (50mins) or train (5 mins) into Sorrento. The train station is a 2 min walk from the property and 2 stops away from Sorrento. The trains run approx every 30mins in each direction although expect some delays at times and train back to Napoli usually very busy. We actually took the bus from the airport which dropped as about 10 mins walk away from Villa Lolanda which is signposted. Host Salvatore was extremely friendly as were his family. Breakfast was an added bonus! I would definitely recommend this property as it is only a mile outside Sorrento and takes you out of the hustle bustle. Would definitely stay again!!!

Sehr schöne, ruhige Ubterkunft. Es gibt nicht viele Zimmer, sodass man ein sehr privates Ambiente hat. Wir hatten am Zimmer noch eine sehr große Terrasse mit Sitzecke und Sonnenliegen. Parken konnten wir direkt auf dem Hof. Sehr netter Kontakt zum Host, der persönlich erreichbar war. Die Unterkunft liegt in Laufnähe zum Bahnhof, von wo aus man sehr schnell nach Sorrent kommt. Unser absolutes war das Frühstück: Mama tischt ein ganzes Buffet an selbstgebackenen Kuchen auf, dazu bekommt man frische Foccacia, Orangensaft aus dem Garten und den besten Cappuccino in Italien. Absolute Empfehlung.

An oasis in a crazy town. You park in a gated courtyard right next to the building with a lovely garden and landscaping. Breakfasts were awesome with fresh from the garden tomatoes and guava, fresh baking and option for omelettes or scrambled eggs, etc. we had an issue with our A/C dripping. They provided a basin for it to drip into - not great. Finally moved us to a diff room after our insistence. Our bed was comfortable but the people we were travelling with had a super hard bed in their room - like sleeping on plywood. Need to be prepared to walk lots or drive with difficulty finding parking - that’s just Sorrento. Not much in the immediate area for restaurants or shops. Overall very good place to stay if you have a car. Be prepared to take taxis or walk a lot to get anywhere.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here, I wish we had stayed longer! Everything was clean and spacious, everyone there was so kind and helpful, it’s an easy walk from the train station, and it made a great home base to pop to Sorrento, Pompeii, the beach etc… and the breakfasts were absolutely fantastic! Would definitely recommend, and would definitely stay there again!
