Nice place to stay on Perhentians, everything you need is available at the Barat, or a small walk to the next beach. The food options were good, really liked the BBQ. Family sea front chalet was nice, airco and fan helped to cool down. View was a bit obstructed by the restaurant terrace.

What a great place to stay on Perhentian island (Greater)! A real gem. Location is perfect with 3 beaches in walking distance (one right next to the accommodation). We stayed in a seafront view family room and it was amazing waking up to the beautiful view. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfy beds, plenty of pillows, fridge, AC, a big fan on the ceiling. Big screen tv is connected to wifi so we were able to watch some of our favourite programs before bed. Spacious balcony - stepping out of it -> stepping into the restaurant. Staff are super helpful, professional, friendly. We strongly recommend this place. We would definitely come back if we come to East Malaysia again.

Fint hotel -forvent meget ventetid på restauranten

Vi boede i et værelse helt ud til vandet, hvilket var lækkert. De andre værelser var knap så godt beliggende. Hotellets restaurant er vores helt store klagepunkt…vi fik vores retter på vidt forskellige tidspunkter. Der kunne sagtens gå 30-45 minutter mellem den ene og den anden fik deres ret. Somme tider glemte de helt vores bestillinger. Derudover var transporten tilbage til Kuala Besut var åbenbart svær for dem at bestille…båden var 25 minutter forsinket.

Udemærket men plads til forbedringer

Værelser er pæne og ganske fornuftige. Desværre er der ingen strand foran hotellet. Restauranten var ofte overfyldt, det kunne være svært at få et bord, og er meget dyr. Prisen i forhold til både placering, service og stand ligger i den høje ende.

Calidad/precio me parece un abuso, la habitación es enana, no te limpian la habitación y te encuentras en una habitación extremadamente pequeña muy simple llena de insectos. Pagando más de 90€ la noche.

Expérience mitigée

Points positifs : emplacement (à 5 min à pied de Turtle Beach, l'une des plus belles plages de l'archipel), la chambre (deluxe family room) récente, grande et agréable. Points négatifs : le restaurant, cher et pas terrible, quel que soit le repas (le Mama's à côté est d'un bien meilleur rapport qualité prix, et plus varié au petit-déjeuner), le service est une catastrophe, extrêmement désorganisé lent (même pour un adepte du mode slow, comme nous), des erreurs et des oublis dans les commandes pour le restaurant systématiques, mais aussi à la réception. Seul les excursions de snorkeling (correctes, sans plus) fonctionnent bien. En conclusion, si je devais retourner aux Perhentian je choisirai un autre établissement.

Asiatische Reisegruppen (>10 Personen), die bis in die Nacht mit ihren selbst mitgebrachten Lautsprechern Musik gehört haben. Das Hotel hat hier nicht eingegriffen, erst nach mehrmaliger Beschwerde. Mit Kind unzumutbar. Restaurant mit versteckten Preisen, die bei Bestellung absolut nicht transparent sind. Nach Rechnungsstellung erfolgt die böse Überraschung

Great staff working well as a team, happy and receptive while being continually busy Food was consistently good. On one night we had fresh fish and squid barbacue and it was tender and delicious. Loved Boat trip A and also hiring a boat to take us to a lovely beach for snorkelling on other days

A fuir

très mauvais accueil à l’hôtel. cheveux de femme présent dans la chambre à notre arrivée, cafard présent dans la salle de bain. chambre sale et miroir pas propre. présence de punaise de lit , au réveil nous nous réveillons avec beaucoup de boutons. la seule réponse que l’on a eu c’est le changement de drap de lit et le fait que l’on se moque de nous. nous avons donc demandé à changer de chambre mais c’était pareil. bruit de chauve souris présent tout le long de la journée. pour un séjour de 6 jours , pas de changement de serviette ni de draps si l’on fait pas la demande. Very bad reception at the hotel. Woman's hair present in the room when we arrived, cockroach present in the bathroom. Dirty room and unclean mirror. Presence of bedbugs, when we woke up we woke up with a lot of spots. The only response we received was the change of bed sheets and the fact that we were made fun of. So we asked to change rooms but it was the same. Bat noise present all day long. For a 6-day stay, no change of towels or sheets if you don't ask.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso la camera Sea View: La vista è decisamente bella, e anche la camera è grande e confortevole. Pulizia della camera nella media Malesiana. Ottima posizione, il ristorante di questo resort e più costoso rispetto agli altri, ma si mangia bene. Ad ogni modo, a pochi passi, ci sono altri ristoranti. Personale cortese

Abbiamo soggiornato 1 notte in questa struttura, prenotando la camera standard. La camera è piccola, sporca, così come sporche lo sono lenzuola e asciugamani. Non ha una finestra, se non la porta finestra che funge anche da porta d’ingresso. Il bagno, con lo scarico otturato, si allaga dopo 1 minuto di doccia. Sconsiglio questa sistemazione.

Die Perhentian Islands, vorallem die Insel Besar ist wunderschön und besitzt einen der schönsten Strände die ich kenne. Die Unterkunft hat allen Erwartungen entsprochen und kann von mir nur weiterempfohlen werden, ich würde und werde selbst noch einmal dorthin zurückkommen. Der Strand vor der Barat ist zum schwimmen ok aber um am Strand zu chillen und den schöneren Strand zu nutzen läuft man 5-10 Minten nach Norden, dort ist der oben erwähnte herrliche Strand zu finden. Das Resort bietet gutes Essen.

Dårlig service

Værelset var udmærket. Rigtig behagelige senge og køleskab og aircondition, som fungerede godt. Håndklæderne var ofte beskidte og havde hår på. Beliggenheden gjorde det lidt besværligt at lave noget, da man enten skal med taxabåd eller leje kayak for at komme hen til strande man kan bade på. Man må nemlig ikke bade på stranden der er ved the barat. Der er Kun 2-3 restauranter på stranden og maden er meget middelmådig og intetsigende. Ingen steder man kan købe lidt ind, medmindre man vil gå 20 minutter igennem en jungle hver vej. Værst ved opholdet var attituden i receptionen. Ung kvinde som ikke smiler og snakker meget flabet til en, som om det er træls man er der. Dette var blandt andet grunden til, at vi tog afsted en dag før end planlagt, da man simpelthen ikke følte sig velkommen og man har ikke har brug for mere end 2 dage. Man kan købe billetter til forskellige bådture på stranden ved hotellet og det var en god oplevelse. Bemærk at taxabådene bliver meget dyrrere om aftenen. Du kan heller ikke hæve penge på øerne.

Although the island is very nice, this hotel is not. We paid for a deluxe room and believe me it wasn’t. The beds are hard, the air conditioning is too strong and hard to control. 3 times per day, the electricity goes off and you have to restart the breaker. The food at the restaurant is pretty much all frozen food so not very good. The beach in front of the hotel is not useable so you have to walk 5 minutes to the other beach which is amazing. The best snorkeling of my life!

Nice, friendly, easy and clean. We had a nice room 40 steps away from the shoreline.. nice restaurant with fresh fish perfectly grilled and beers available. Staff is just fantastic and very kind.

No recomiendo. Relación calidad/precio muy baja. Suciedad en habitación, baño, sabanas… El restaurante muy caro en comparación a otros resorts (incluso resorts de categoría superior tienen precios más bajos)… Te cobran al cambio 4€ por un capuccino de cápsula (dolce gusto). El dive center en mi opinión solo se preocupa por cobrar buceos. Yo pedí “fun dive” y a ultima hora para ahorrarse un barco nos metieron con los del curso de advanced para la profunda (sabiendo que no había visibilidad). No tiene ningún sentido, solo su beneficio económico.

Nous avons séjourné dans un chalet simple au Barat. Le personnel était extrêmement serviable. Plusieurs autres hôtels avec leurs restaurants sont situés à proximité, notamment le Mama's Restaurant, qui est excellent. Cependant, le ponton n'est pas très pratique, donc il vaut mieux éviter de venir avec de grosses valises.
