A bit old, but good location. Friendly staff. Was charged the full price for the second night, because if the exhibition. A bit expensive if I am to pay the full price for the room of such quality.

The photos are really misleading . The rooms were old and worn out . The carpet in the room was full of stains and a terrible odour .

The room that we were in was a non smoking room. When we arrived, there was clearly smoke in the room from the previous hotel guest. When we went to the front desk to ask for a new room, the front desk said there are no rooms available right now and you need to wait. If you don’t want to wait, you can open the windows to air it out. The rooms are clearly nonsmoking and the hotel staff clearly did not enforce it.

The hotel posts 4 star on Expedia website, but actually it is a 3 star hotel. If it is 3 star, I would resider to book the hotel. The location of the hotel is really good. They are closed to different tourist attractions, public transportation, and restaurants. For the Wifi experience, if guests do not have cell phone number, they can't access the Internet. Maybe they need to improve the lock in on their Wifi service. The place for shower has not completely covered by the glass pane, only half of it. The other half is open space that causes the splash of water wetting the floor.

I booked one week at the New World Hotel based on the information on the Expedia website. The New World advertisement says they have a restaurant, laundry service, breakfast available, free Wi-Fi and free parking. In fact when I arrived none of these were available. Holy Moly! Here is the good and bad. Here is the short list of good: The hotel is near a vibrant street for foodies; you can get a taxi nearby anytime with a wave of a hand; the rooms are moderately sized and relatively quiet; the bedding in my room was adequate. Now the not so good: The hotel is old; needs better maintenance; the rooms need deep cleaning; front desk staff is indifferent; no food or coffee; no working Wi-Fi; on a street with an elevated freeway above. If you are looking for a hotel on a tight budget and can overlook a lot of stuff, this hotel will be great for you.

The property is extremely old and the paint is peeling off at a lot of places. While the shower water is running ok , the water at the wash sink is running extremely slow — the column of running water is about the size of a pencil.!I complained to the front desk but nothing was done about it.
