I stayed at Royalton Blue Waters Montego Bay, an Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort, from August 28 to September 3 in room 3219, and was deeply disappointed. The first room was poorly maintained with broken shelves, only one closet door, and a mouse behind the TV and fridge. After complaining, I was moved to 3301, which was only a slight improvement. Food and beverage shortages were a constant issue during my stay, unacceptable for a resort at this price point.
The management offered a complimentary cabana and spa service for the inconvenience, but the spa was not fully operational—the hot tub was cold due to maintenance. The cabana area was dangerously slippery, causing my guest to fall and injure their ankle and knee. Shockingly, we were asked to pay $65 for simple Tylenol at the resort’s nursing office.
Part of a group of 75 for a birthday celebration, I and many others were appalled by the lack of care, poor upkeep, unreliable amenities, and unsafe conditions. What should have been a special occasion was overshadowed by frustration and disappointment. I would not recommend Royalton Blue Waters Montego Bay, as the experience left us extremely unsatisfied and let down
