Great hotel with perfect location

Very nice hotel with excellent location in Kaohsiung with access to transportation right across the street and plenty of shopping including Hugh end mall couple minute walk. Fantastic and helpful staff and one of the best free breakfast buffets you could ask for. Will stay there again on my next visit for sure.

The area of this hotel is so convenient , close to shopping mall and MRT station . Walking to the night market only 10-15 mins . So this is so good for studying who wants to shopping .

Besides locating at the prime location in Kaohsiung (I am from Kaohsiung, so I can definitely say this out loud) right at the subway R-14 exit, it is also located next to the park (away from the busy street), there is another nice hotel right next, but R-14 Hotel is at a better site as it is in the inner part (on a smaller street). However, what makes this hotel stands out is its excellency of staffing. The owner of this hotel should give everyone a raise, seriously! They truely work as a team. They don't just treat guests as customers, they treat us like family. I had an unexpected nasty fall in this May raining season to the point to be taken to the hospital. When the hotel staff saw me and learned about it, they all went to get the ice for me and constantly asking about my recovery (they even made special ice packs!). From the Front Desk staff, to the dinning hall staff, to room service staff, their sweet tender loving characters definitely shine through, really made our 2 weeks stay truly one of the best travel experiences so far in life. Thank you R-14 Hotel staff, we will definitely come stay the next time we are in Kaohsiung! (I only got one question to the hotel owner, where did you find all your staff? Your manager and/or the hiring manager must have some kind of special power!! You don't just have employees, what you have is a TEAM). Well done!

Good value

We had pleasant stay. Great location! The staffs were friendly, housekeeping were awesome, bed was comfortable to sleep and they also have small gym👍 Our room was right next to elevator but no noise issues at all. The only thing that need to be improved is hotel breakfast. They ONLY offered vegetarian breakfast. We paid for breakfast but only eat there once. I wish I knew that they only offered vegetarian. I would save money for breakfast. McD or local breakfast is few minutes walk.
