The staff is what makes this hotel special. From the greeting and helpfulness of the front desk who went out of the way to help us to the kind server at the roof top restaurant, we felt very welcome and cared for at this hotel. We stayed because of the location across the street from the train station. It's a very busy area and we did not explore much as we were leaving in the morning.

Hotel is nice, the breakfast selection is good, but they clearly need a proper operations re-haul. Our shower was not mounted upon arriving in the room, the breakfast staff was overwhelmed every day at the same time, there were greeters, who didnt do anything. All in all a nice hotel, but needs improvement, right now it just not good enough to justify such a steep price.

You could hear a lot of movements in other rooms. Constant sounds of footsteps echoing in the room. Hotel was next to a main intersection so the balcony opened into honking all day long. Street below also under construction so construction noises during the week. All in room items cost 2x-3x more than the corner store across the street.

Perfect location. Accross from Atocha, few mins walk from Museums of Reina Sofia and Prado, few mins from Retiro. Can’t ask for more. Great lobby, options to eat, have coffee, relax. Quality restaurant on top. Highly recommended.
