found clothes in bathroom, and bottle of soda in fridge. alot of things in room look old dusty and dirty. nut i guess you get what you pay for.

Horrible Hotel

The whole place smelled of old stale smoke. The bathroom and tub in particular were disgusting. I checked out a day early and they would issue a refund for the second night.

If people are staying for two nights, there should be bath wash cloths for two nights. The motel is noisy. The dresser in our room was broken. The room was very clean and had been updated.

For those on a strict budget this place is a nice choice in Owatonna. Family business Owner is professional, courteous & onsite daily. It’s safe to stay here. Clean bed & bedding. The bathroom remodeled & you get very hot water & good water pressure. Room equipped w/ large flat panel TV, fridge & microwave. Coffee, juice & a few pkg’d mini muffin pkgs on offer in AM. Bath towels are toddler-sized for lack of better description. Will work for most solo travelers & housekeeping stops by daily if you want fresh ones.

This was one of our worst stays anywhere. We heard gun shots, meth heads fixing their car in the parking lot. Horrible. Would not recommend ANYONE to stay here

First night the room was cold, had to get extra blankets. Room and bed were comfortable other than that. Second night was in a different room. Lights and plugins did not work, holes in the wall where a picture was suppose to be. Bed was not comfortable. Pillows were very old in both rooms. But for the price can't really expect more than what it is.

For a stay over for the night it works

So drove up, was like this is sketchy. Checked in and was pleasantly surprised how clean the room was. Hardwood laminate flooring, clean bathroom. Windows are old, they need a crank to open and close. My window was cracked open and I couldn’t get it shut. There was a light switch, don’t know it was for. The fridge was on so that was a plus cause the last 2 hotels I stayed at, fridge was off or didn’t work. I bring a lunch bag cause my stays are usually just overnight so not having a cold fridge when arriving kinda sucks

Horrible Experience

Very old and dated. Mouse poop on the bathroom floor. Bathroom faucet leaked water all over. Beds were very old and uncomfortable. Most of the lights and outlets didn't work in the room. The smoke alarm was dangling from the wall by its wires. The wall AC unit wasn't turned on when we arrived and it was SO HOT in the room, and it took hours to cool down. We arrived right at midnight so it WAS very hard to get to sleep because of the hot room. I guess that's what you get for $72/night.

- Clean, neat, tidy, and safe. - Good location close to businesses. - We checked in late (10pm) due to traffic. Staff were quick and helpful, if difficult to understand. - Room was very cute, cozy, and clean. - Bathroom was fun! Nicely decorated, great shower, good water pressure and temperature. The faucet lit up blue if cold, green if warm, and red if hot. - Would recommend this spot to anyone travelling through. No real amenities on the property, such as pool or even a decent-sized room for breakfast, but if you just want a clean, cozy spot for a night or two, go for it.

The room and everything in it was filthy. Not really really dirty; but FILTHY! The air conditioner only conditioned the air to be filthy as well. I didn’t just smell the bad air; I tasted it. It was disgusting. The only reason I didn’t leave was EVERYBODY else was booked and it was nearly midnight and I was exhausted from the heat!
