Very nice older property but well maintained. Window heater/cooler a little loud but I didn't need it much as the weather was nice. Small room but fine for a short stay. Highly recommended

Small little hotel

The hotel was nothing like what hotels.com advertised. No breakfast. Cracked shower walls, missing paint, cold rooms. Overall it did its job. Hot shower. Comfy beds.

Think again - cost vs amenities.

No kleenex, no hair dryer, outside temps in the 20's and had to call front desk to come to room and turn on heat. I did not see the 2 star rating (my mistake) but read some reviews which gave it great ratings. All we did was check in at 10:00 pm and left at 5:00 am. Bed was comfortable.

Requested a quiet room and got room 101, closest to the highway. Noise kept me awake. Room needed maintenance....2 lights not working, refrigerator not plugged in, funky smell upon entry, no conditioner, or shampoo in shower.

Disappointed - outdated, dark, dirty

0 Disappointing - outdated, crowded, dark. Disliked · This motel should not have as good of a rating as listed. We were booked at a resort in which the air conditioning went out in the entire building and had to find last minute accommodations. This motel was selected based on its rating, but was a disappointment. The rooms are old and desperately need updated. There is only on medium-size mirror, and it is above a pedestal sink; miserable with 3 girls in the room. The sink was busted in numerous places, shower wall was cracked and mildewed. Very little light in the room and the layout left very little room; we felt like we were on top of one another. Not an expensive stay, but did not match the rating in the reviews, so it did not meet expectations.

First of all there was trash in our room when we got in there, a pop bottle and the floors still had dirt all over them from working men that stayed there before us. Then half of our electricity didn't work in the room and when told about these things they pretty much said oh well and they did nothing to correct the situation. Oh but wait! There's more! Not only was it the worst service I've ever seen in a hotel and they were hateful but they put my husband and I on their do not rent list!!! How does that even make sense? I was very discouraged with the property and the owners. They are very rude and unapproachable people. I do not recommend this property to anyone. It's dirty and their guest relations are lacking in several areas. If you have to stay here i say good luck to you because you are a brave one. I promise if you have any problems they will be made into your fault. Sad but also very true. Even ky dam motel is better than there and i know someone who caught scabies from that one! Smh it's a shame that they have to do people like that. It's almost like a disdain for Americans. I didn't quite understand why i was met with the rudeness and disrespect i was met with from the owners. Take my warning and don't stay there! Find somewhere else, anywhere else. Quality inn in draffenville is the best in the area in my opinion. But days inn in Calvert city has the sweetest staff so those choices are the better choice.
