Nice rooms, comfortable, quiet, good food.
You must be able to get around as there are stairs in the lobby to check in & going out side doors & stairs from there down to sidewalk. Going in & out front doors is ok but the hotel is located on a steep hill, so if you use a luggage cart & don't park right in front of hotel, be prepared to push up that steep hill. And getting cart in the front door a bit tricky. The list of amenities stated bell hops, but there were none.
There is parking on the street, which not a lot, but a dirt parking lot in the back so be prepared to walk a bit to hotel.
Elevators avaiable if you don't want to walk up to floors.
Ask about the shower/tub when you check in & giving you the room. Mine had an old fashioned claw tub which was charming to look at, but the shower curtain when closed during shower, seems to make it crowded if you put the curtain in instead of out. Shower head & water pressure were great.
The card instructions on the TV, state hulu is offered for guests to use..but several front desk folks could not find the password, so I was never able to use it for my 2 night stay.
The ambience & history on the hotel is fascinating, so take the time to read the information you can take along with some other interesting reading on the table in the lobby. Overall, a pleasant stay.
