The hotel is under renovation and we completely understood that aspect. Unfortunately, the loudness of this hotel had nothing to do with renovation. There is a restaurant open to the public on the 4th floor. Diners came and went throughout the evening. Often times those diners were very loud walking up the stairs, waiting for elevator, and departing. Most parked right below the windows which over half of the hotel faces that parking lot. Then between 9PM - 1AM the disturbance from the restaurant employees going in and out, blasting music, etc was ridiculous. It was after 1AM before things calmed down enough to sleep uninterupted.
Then upon waking at 6AM for our plans, we woke to no water in the hotel room. We called the front desk and was told a security guard would check the restaurant. That led us to believe this has happened before. We were supposed to get a return call to update, but no call came. 20 minutes later, we called the front desk again. A different person answered and told us a water line had broken and someone would be there to fix it as soon as possible. Luckily we left the shower faucet open so we heard the water running about 5 minutes later. So yes, we were able to quickly shower before we had to depart. However, there is no way a water line was fixed in less than 30 minutes. Obviously it was something to do with the restaurant, but we were lied to so it would not be the hotel's fault. Smallest bathroom in history!
