Great stay near train and great Japanese/Korean

Very friendly service, bike share for free, great location less than 10 min walk to train station. Great Ramen restaurant and Korean food nearby. Loved it! Bed was less than 5 stars but room was very clean and comfortable, a little bare bones in terms of extras like a bathrobe, shampoo, an iron was in the hallway for community use. But a great value and great stay overall. Would definitely stay again!

Best stay so far!

I travel a lot (work and pleasure) and this was one of the best stays yet. Friendly , professional service from all staff (bar staff was particularly impressive). Hotel room was large, comfortable with great amenities. Fantastic toiletries and free bottled water (I don’t care if it’s factored into the price, it made me feel valued). Other hotels take note: this is how you do customer service right! Thank you. Will be back for sure

Terrible hotel cosplaying as a Japanese hotel

This hotel presents itself as a "Japanese" hotel, but lacks any of the aspects that makes a decent Japanese hotel, the most glaring of which is cleanliness. Your room will be absolutely filthy with practically zero care for dusting anywhere above your bed. Go ahead, take a look at the ceiling and the corners above the bed, nothing but huge dust clumps everywhere, which would never happen in a Japanese hotel. Also, there is practically zero ventilation in the room. They have AC, but only a tiny sliver above the door that is covered in dust, Hopefully the weather is decent outside because the shower is not enclosed for some odd design reason. Therefore if you shower the room will fill up with steam and quickly get humid so you'll have no option but to open the windows. Walls are paper thin so you'll likely be hearing everything your neighbor is doing. Breakfast was average but the room was very nice with a great view of the city. Wi-Fi was exceptional, that I will give credit to the hotel, averaging 175-200 Mbps.

Cleaning should be a priority

Room was not cleaned I had to call reception- dust everywhere. In the night when I went to bed I felt itchy in bed not sure if bed bugs - they changed the bed the next day. Noisy aircon system also.

War gut leider finktionierte der Safe nicht. Mir waren zu viele Spiegel im Badbereich. Und Klimaanlage wäre gut gewesen weil wenn man das fenster geöffnet hatte es sehr laut war. Skybar ab 0 uhr keine cocktails mehr nicht mal Jack Daniels nur softdrinks/ bier und wein. Ich finde wenn man bis 1 uhr auf hat sollte man auch alles anbieten. Jack Daniels ist nicht aifwendig. Hotelfrühstück ok sehr uberfüllt und teiweise keine Gläser und teller da gewesen. Lage und personal sehr gut und freundlich. Bett sehr bequem. Für einen kurztripp nach Düsseldorf kann ich das hotel aber sehr empfehlen. Stylich auch sehr schön fahrstuhl und loby

Wie war Ihr Check-in? Der Check-in selbst war sehr angenehm, ich wurde freundlich empfangen und habe mich zunächst gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wie war Ihr Aufenthalt insgesamt? Leider war ich beim zweiten Besuch insgesamt enttäuscht. Dass mein Zimmer am Ende des Flurs lag, war völlig in Ordnung. Allerdings war der Zustand des Zimmers alles andere als zufriedenstellend: • Auf dem Bett waren Haare zu finden, • Der Boden war offensichtlich nicht gesaugt, • Aus dem Wasserhahn kam gelbliches Wasser, • Es gab keine Wasserflasche oder ähnliches zur Begrüßung im Zimmer, trotz bereitliegendem Flaschenöffner, • Und die „grüne“ Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht. Bei den aktuellen Sommertemperaturen absolut unzureichend. Ich war bei meinem ersten Aufenthalt sehr überzeugt und bin deshalb gerne wiedergekommen, umso bedauerlicher, dass ich diesmal eine ganz andere Erfahrung machen musste.

Me and all of you will enjoy staying here. The location is not just great for the train station, for the city centre, but also for the great Japanese and Asian restaurants and cafes around. The hotel is extremely well kept, the cafe of the ground floor is excellent, and if you need a haircut you’re in luck! The rooms are excellent. Very stylish with the Japanese wall art, they’re very comfortable and ultra clean. The breakfast is good, with super views.
