I immediately check the beds for bugs, and there is bugs!! Bed bugs- tons of them. I did not get my daughter or our things out of the car, i immediately asked for a refund and she offered a different room. I said no I wanted a refund. So now I wait for Expedia to return my money because I refuse to stay with bedbugs and being that home!

I generally choose Super 8 motels when staying in motels, with that said, this one was not like any other I stayed at I will say that, Won't go in to the particulars cause it wasn't too bad but I will say offering a smoking room was awesome and the main reason I chose this one, hardly ever see these being offered.

The one thing I didn't like is that they're not pet friendly unless your animal is a service animal and then they want to charge $200 for a cleaning fee that is uncalled for and no need I have three service animals that needs to be changed y'all need to be pet friendly like everybody else

No sheets for the fold out couch. Had to request them twice. No soap in the bathroom. No coffee at breakfast. No soft drinks or snacks available. No bucket for the ice machine.

Desk clerk did not know anything about the area. Could not answer any of my questions about hwy or any of the local attractions. There was a very shady character with a shopping basket cruising around the property. No ice machine. And for this hotel to carry the Super 8 name it sure was not up to that standard.

TERRIBLE customer service

I asked for more pillows. There were 2 per bed. He said “don’t you have pillows?” I said yeah but they’re super flat. He said “well I don’t have anymore.” Then I asked for towels. We had 2…and I had two kids with me.. he said “I’ll give you more when you bring the others back.”

Floors were sticky, coffee pot missing pieces, lamp shade torn, bedspread had spots from not being washed, shampoo and soap containers empty. In breakfast area, coffee dispenser didn't work - employee didn't know how to fix it. Wasn't concerned or knowledgeable. Do not plan to stay at any super 8 hotels after this one night stay.

Where to start? No smoke detector, chain was ripped off the door, floors made our feet black, the TV was zoomed in to the top left quarter of the screen making it unwatchable, no USB charging ports. We asked for a different room and were told there were none available. I looked on Experian and Wyndham’s websites and both showed 5 of our type of room available. When I pointed this out to the front desk clerk he told me I had to request a different room within one hour of check-in. I told him I wanted a different room because we weren’t comfortable with the door not having a secondary lock and the room didn’t even meet fire code. He texted his manager and after over an hour he gave us a different room. We finally got into the new room at 10:15pm and this one didn’t have a smoke detector either. The TV had lines running top to bottom, but at least we could see the entire screen. No clue how this place had a 7.0 review score. I understand you get what you pay for, but the room should at least be safe to sleep in.

Decent Night’s Rest

The stay were very friendly and provided excellent service. The motel itself wasn’t that great, but I knew what I was getting for such a discounted price. While the stay was okay, there were some major issues I should point out. Driving in, the pool was closed and the water looked like a swamp. There was leftover debris on the floor of the room—an old cherry tomato, cigarette butts, and the floor made our feet black. The hot water in the bathtub never fully turned off, so we had to keep the door closed to muffle the sound, but the caused the room to get muggy. My biggest complaint was the wifi. It was not secured and it either kept cutting out or required accepting the stay/terms every few hours. It was also unbearably slow, but we made do. The AC unit was a little loud, but that’s just how the wall units are. As for comfort, the beds were nice and firm the pillows weren’t), the sheets were clean and smelled fresh, the fridge and other appliances worked, though the tv was a little older so the picture quality wasn’t great. For being next to Sonic and a gas station, it was rather quiet. They do have new electronic locks so that was nice. Breakfast wasn’t extravagant but it was a decent selection and the area was clean. Because most of my issues weren’t major, I’d probably visit again due to the cost and location.

Filthy room and mold on bedsheets

Beware of this hotel. We stopped to check in and just drop off our bags before leaving to a state park. On a quick run to the restroom I saw the tub had rust and dirt, but thought it wasn't much, so we left. Upon returning, the room felt humid and warm even though the AC was on. The floor looked damp and when my daughter took off her shoes she said it felt wet. I took a hand towel to see if it was wet and the towel turned filthy brown, as if I was mopping. There also weren't enough bath towels even though I specified the amount of guests upon booking, so I had to call the front office for some. At first the night employee told me they were all in the washer but then called me back to tell me he had an extra one. I told him about the dirty floor but he seemed hesitant to believe me so I had to show him a picture. Upon further inspecting the room I found mold on the bedsheets and called again to say I wouldn't stay for a second night with my young children. I'm glad that at least I didn't have an issue with check out and they refunded the price for the second night without a hassle. It's the least they could do, honestly. It's too bad because this hotel has such much potential with a great location and a pool that just needs to be fixed, but it's evident owners and management are not invested.
