I have stayed here about 5 times in the past 10 years and sadly it has become very run down. Bed was really uncomfortable and the fittings and fixtures need a lot of attention. Great location with on site parking and it was cheap.

A gem in Margaret River

My only complaint about this place is that we couldn't stay longer! It's such a charming and comfortable guest house, just around the corner from everything - good food, coffee, books, shopping, river walk. The room itself has so many thoughtful touches. I would absolutely visit again.

Initially I found the room whilst full of atmosphere, it was noisy until the restaurant next door close. Once it closed, quiet prevailed and there weren’t any further problems so good sleep was the best. The room was lovely and the bath just so good. I would stay again.

The guest house was in a very good location beautiful garden. Kettle and the outside fudge was dirty. Ideal for a couple as we can go out for every meal not recommended for families as there is no way of cooking any meals inside the guest house. Did not see a BBQ or a stove to fly an egg even.

Basic and needs updating

Hotel is a short walk from the main shopping and restaurant area. Rooms are dated, shower dripped all night, with brackets coming away from the wall, lights left on throughout the reception area. Bed was comfortable, with basic amenities in the room. Champagne room, is on the first floor, so you hear when neighbours come back. All the doors creak so you get a disturbed night. Reception is across the street at another property, as well as key drop off. Basic room, wouldn’t pay the price that it was advertised at!!

Whilst the room was clean, we were not impressed with the cups, glasses and cutlery being kept in the bathroom with the toilet. It's totally unhygienic. However there is an option to use the kettle & cups outside our room which was great but no milk.

The spa jets werent working which was the resaon we purchased that room, no compensation offered. There was someones dirty socks left in the cuoboard and the mattress was hard. Which granted some may like but not me.

There was no staff available at check-in (7pm). It was hard to locate the right building, with the area unlit and the communal area of the building once inside also unlit. The room itself was shabby, with curtains falling down and not able to cover the whole window. The bed spread had holes in it and the bathroom had mould in the shower and on the ceiling. The room needs a deep clean and refurbishment.
