What an amazing experience. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us and didn't get to fully experience the island as we wished but prior to booking I was told the bath house was fully booked but when I enquired on arrival it was available! We really enjoyed this experience. Receptionist was lovely and very helpful! Would definitely visit again

Such a lovely cool hotel with fabulous views. Large window in room which was great with the fantastic views. I only stopped one night but would definitely be worth stopping a bit longer to take advantage of what the hotel offers and some of the trips. Very spacious room. Complimentary coffee. Food served all day. Very easy to get to from Tromso, fab journey, great scenery. My trip was April, but would like to return during the winter. Great.

The hospitality felt mediocre. The rooms were worn out.. the food was ok but didn't match the price. Good things were free cancellations on private hot tubs. But they continued to say fully booked when I saw no one using the hot tubs most hours. Without northern lights and during storms, this rental is not entertaining.

Nice Hotel and friendly staff. Experience is definitely weather dependant so check it out before leaving. Not much to do around in winter (3 hours of 'day' light). Recommended, but make sure you check availability of activities beforehand (reservations should be made well in advance). One (big) hour drive drive from Tromso, so make sure you hire a good car and are comfortable driving on icy roads in winter. If you do all the planning in advance and check weather reports, it should be a nice spot for Northern lights. Don't go there for delicate food but they make it up with good local beers (and again, friendly staff).

Estuvimos en la cabaña de 5 habitaciones con un grupo de amigos, la zona es espectacular y tuvimos la suerte de ver auroras boreales 4 de las 5 noches de nuestra estancia. Una de las habitaciones es muy grande y bonita y las otras 4 son más pequeñas, aunque todas con baño, por lo que resulta muy cómodo. En la cocina echamos en falta un microondas, pero el resto de electrodomésticos y menaje perfecto. Desayunamos 2 días en el hotel y cenamos 2 noches en el restaurante y el personal fue muy amable y la comida muy buena. La sumiller nos explicó cosas sobre bebidas locales y fue muy agradable. Los alrededores son preciosos, hacía frío con lo que andamos poquito por allí, pero con una temperatura más agradable tiene que ser una maravilla.

Sauna and breakfast included in stay. Waterfront. Not a good location for midnight sun due to the mountain to the north, which was disappointing because I was under the impression it would be good view. Not good ventilation in my room: hot when sun shines on window and no way to cool down and had campfire smoke smell enter room in middle of night briefly. Scalding hot water which is difficult to regulate. Decent bed.
