Great, friendly staff in all areas. Very clean. Lighting in the main rooms was POOR. We couldn’t even read the directions for the coffee pot without a flashlight. Lighting in the BATHROOM was GREAT. Would like to have know prior to reserving the room-how far it was from the main part of the hotel. (We all were in our 80’s). Suggest a safety lock on the main door to the unit. MANY towels which was GREAT.

It was recommended we stay here by a friend while we were traveling around Colorado for our honeymoon. The room served its purpose, we stayed 2 nights. There was a used robe and towel hanging in our room on arrival, I notified the desk and we got a discount on night 1. Housekeeping had been in our room and still didn’t remove the items. Hot springs are nice and weren’t too crowded. Breakfast was ok for being included in our rate.

The pools and soaking tubs were amazing. The dozens of flower pots around the property were beautiful. Great breakfast buffet. The room itself was very basic and dated. T.V. reception was awful, it was barely watchable.

The property check in was easy, staff was fantastic, and the hot springs and bar options on site was wonderful. I was a bit disappointed to be charged for pool towels and robe use, especially given the higher than avg. cost of the rooms. Additionally, the room could use some updates and smaller furniture, I.e., extra chairs and table were too large for the space. The TV didn't work, and the bathroom door didn't fully close. Despite these non-essential flaws we would still return!!!

Wonderful stay in Ouray

We had a wonderful time in Ouray. The lodge is conveniently located near town and trails. You can pretty much walk everywhere…if you are a walker. The lodge is a little outdated but it was clean. The hot springs and vapor cave is nice.

Absolutely incredible hot springs and pools, the best we have experienced in Colorado in terms of facilities, views, variety of temperatures. Great pool side bar, breakfast buffet was wonderful. This is our new "go to" location in Colorado!
