10/10 Exceptional

Secure parking, incredible friendly and welcoming staff, basic clean room, fantastic stay if needing to go to Birmingham centre
Cerys, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

We just used it as a stop over as we were going to an event in the city.

10/10 Exceptional

Brilliant stay as always

Room was clean as were the corridors. The earing area is lovely and presentable and the breakfast is amazing. I would reccomend paying for breakfast at the hotel as its £13 to book on hotels or its £7 if you book it at the hotel. Only downside is the internet connection can be a bit iffy
Chris, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

My interaction with staff was fine and a lovely lady called me a cab. The room was very drab with a broken window. The bed was comfy and warm room. It was fine just rather run down.

2/10 Poor

Had bed bugs. I found put after as i had lots of marks and it was very itchy. Notified the hotel through hotels.com but never heard back from anyone.

Receptionists were very helpful, the family room was very clean and comfortable would certainly recommend it.

8/10 Very good

Good value but needs redecorating

The pub/hotel was very dated and in need of new carpets and furniture throughout apart from the cellar room where breakfast was served. This room and the breakfast itself were very good and redeemed the overall impression of the stay. It was overall very good value, cheap for a city hotel with free parking and excellent breakfast included.
Andrew, 1-night trip

Staff were incredibly nice! We were surprised to find ourselves directly next to the Birmingham City match during the FA tournament and it was such a fun atmosphere!

Super Bad exp

I am not sure it is my bad luck or what, my check in date is the football match day, the roads are block, my car cann drive to near by area, the car park is closed, the hotel is in a mess with lots of football fans and bear. i have to stop the car far away to walk to the cashier, and ask for check in. And it is crazy noisy and messy as 99.99% are football fans there just after a match. The fans are NOT friendy seeing i am not wear the home football tee like them. I asked the staff when do the car park reopen and he said NO idea, and have to wait all fans gone. At last i have give up this hotel and get another one near by to stay a night

4/10 Fair

Car parking is only for 4 cars and its also used as a beer garden people standing all around your car putting their pints of beer on the roof of your car not very good, avoid this place on a Saturday if there is a football match on as it’s next door.
Alun, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great place (may be different on a match night) quiet, clean with friendly staff.

Never Again

When I 1st arrived everything was fine until my key wasn’t working properly took ages to get into the room. In the end had to changed key cards but was given the same problem. Then to make matters worse there was bed bugs which enjoyed biting me throughout the night to say I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Staff was very friendly tho. When I mentioned the bugs to the staff she said they don’t bed bugs and the they had special trained dogs to check the room
Natasha, 1-night trip
