Staff is very nice but when I first got there I felt like I was walking in an uncomfortable corner. That being said it's close enough to JamsilJanae station for subway access. Hotel is technically a motel by the way. In case you need services or delivery that requires a reputable hotel. Still good for the cost and I had all my privacy. 7-eleven literally 1 building door away for emergency needs even at night

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice 2 night stay. Very easy to get around. Parked our car and we used subway to go different places. Lots of restaurants near the hotel. The hotel is in a very convenient location if you plan to attend any events south of the Han River like concerts at Olympic Park. And with Jamsilsaenae station just a few minutes away, you can hop on the green line(Line 2) and get to Gangnam, Hongdae, Myeongdong, or any of the touristy spots in Seoul. That said if you're unfamiliar with Seoul, it's definitely not a touristy neighborhood but I loved it because you really get a feel of what it's like to live in Seoul. As for the hotel itself, it's mostly well-kept and I had no problems so I enjoyed my stay. Next time I'm in Seoul and need to stay south of the Han, Pharos Hotel is definitely going to be at the top of my list!

The property was generally satisfactory, and the reception staff were helpful. Also, the room was fairly large, which was nice. However, there were no laundry facilities, which were advertised. Additionally, my soap was thrown out during cleaning, which isn’t a big deal, but was irritating. Overall, the experience was fairly good.

I had to change my room due to a strong odor and general sense of wear and tear. The staff was super friendly and understanding. I was able to get a different room because they weren’t at full occupancy at the time. My new room was immaculate and beautiful. So, my honest rating would depend on which room I had to stay in. The first room, maybe 2 stars, my new room-4 stars. Staff (when on site) 5 stars, the neighborhood 5 stars. The surrounding area was great. Very walkable, close to public transportation, a ton of restaurants, coffee shops.

This hotel is located at prime hangout spot in JamSil. Bus Stop and Metro is 5 minutes walking distance and there are airport bus stop close by. If you get dropped off at 잠실새내station, hotel is two blocks away. Staff are friendly but English is not well understood. Towels are very worn out but cleaner than most hotel in US. It was a shame there is no laundry machine on premises. And Sky lounge is closed. I would definitely come back again.

The hotel is not as advertised online. The pool is not provided unless you rent the suite. The jacuzzi tubs in the rooms do not work, nor does the tv. The rooms were dusty and not really clean. The towels provided were dingy & dirty. The only thing that was good was the night staff was helpful.
