This is a beautiful property, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. It is very isolated, though, especially if you don't have a car. We arranged an all-day island tour that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our guide, Alex, was friendly and knowledgeable, and loves showing people his home.
Alicia, the owner, also took us on a short ride to the Kalinago Village since she was going that way. She made it a priority to see that we had things to do while there.
At the time of our visit, there was no TV available- either local or cable/satellite. That was a little disappointing, but we understand that this is partly a result of last year's hurricane. It's difficult to find things to do at night without it.
The restaurant food was, to our taste, too salty but otherwise well-prepared and the quality and variety was good. The service was also excellent.
Dominica is a beautiful island, and we enjoyed our time there.
