Comfortable, walk to everything, lovely and attentive staff. Coffee on the private patio watching birds, sea lions and the ocean was dreamy. Breakfast was so good!

Wonderful hotel. Our room was incredible. We stayed in Darwin. But there was no hot water for 2/3 of our stay. All we were able to get out of them was a free breakfast one day. I would have expected a significant discount given this lacking amenity

8/10 Very good

Great property with big open rooms. Air conditioning was highly reliable and comfortable. Breakfast was expensive at $25USD for a very small and mediocre buffet. Staff was not super helpful or overly welcoming - just ok.

The name lives up to the experience

My stay exceeded my expectations. The ambiance says Galapagos. Natural, lovely comfy, intimate. The staff treated me like family. Nothing was too much to ask. Did i mention it's right on the cove so breakfast is with the sea lions, Galapagos marine iguanas, brightly colored crabs - you get the picture. Already planner my next stay.

Fabulous!

Excellent service! Beautiful location...right on the water with a lovely deck and restaurant just a short walk to other restaurants and shops and easy to get a taxi anywhere else. Make sure to have the staff schedule your taxi to the airport - you can have the driver accompany you on the ferry and bus and help with your bags all the way to the airport - definitely worth it!

The Best Front Desk Staff

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff was over the top in excellence, especially the Front Desk. I know that Hotels.com offers photos of rooms for easy selecting; but the one I chose was a bit misleading and so I was only slightly disappointed in the view that we got versus what was shown on the site. After a large party left, we were able to upgrade to the suite with the panoramic picture window of the bay which was exceptional. Thanks to the hotel’s front desk, they arranged for the upgrade and actually moved our luggage in for us once the room was ready. We came back from our adventures that day to an incredible room. The restaurant is also fantastic with its delicious food and incredibly friendly staff. Needless to say, the room’s bed, view, temperature, quietness and water pressure were perfect. The hotel offers a convenient snack shop with free filtered water. And the wildlife watching is not to be dismissed with its population of iguanas, seals and crabs. The hotel is also within walking distance to everything in town. Obviously, I would recommend staying here, it was absolutely amazing.

We booked a room in the corner which had a great view .Upon checkin we were told that we were allowed 3piece of laundry per person per room .We ‘ve sent 12 piece of laundry twice during our 3 night stay .We were told we owed $18 for laundry .We felt that the hotel should communicate to guests better or posted a sign instead of giving wrong info which isn’t a good business practice .Bed was lumpy. The front service was limited ,we went there four times during our stay without answers to our questions due to language barrier or nobody to talk to
Sonnevy, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

The hotel location is close enough to what you would like to see or walk to and yet far enough away that it is peaceful and quiet. The room I had was spacious and cleaned daily. The staff was very helpful and available to answer your questions. The rooms face the bay, some completely and others partly. There is a good restaurant attached to the property and many shops, restaurants and tour offices within walking distance.

Great location and lovely Eco Lodge!

Our stay was amazing and the place is lovely! We arrived in Santa Cruz on our first day and spent a night at Blu Galapagos and on our last day, spent our final night there. Our second night we asked for an upgrade with an ocean view and it was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant that is not associated with hotel, but is on location was one of the best meals we had on our trip and the view is right on the water and you can see sharks and raise and fish swimming while dining. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and I would definitely return there.

6/10 Good

They offered to pick me up but never did. I had to take a cab and the manager stated he would pay for my cab because of the inconvenience then lied. Also, I was supposed to get breakfast but didnt so they offered me a beer each day then tried to charge me for it. The restaurant not affiliated was fantastic. Room was nice, by very warm.

Issues with sewage. Nit allowed yo flush the TP. In warmer weather the toilet would stink. Running water not suitable for drinking nor washing teeth. Need to use the water from a canister. The restaurant is not part of the hotel AL MAR is very good and very accommodation .

6/10 Good

Enjoyed our stay at Blu Galápagos it was very easily accessible within walking distance of many delightful places to eat. The breakfast area is located overlooking the water so we enjoyed having breakfast next to sea lions and other local wildlife. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely a return place to stay.
