The hotel is 5 minute walk from the subway station and very convenient. Check in is smooth and they gave me my room a bit earlier at 2pm. Room is clean but starting to look a little tired. The decor may not be to everyone tastes. There are plenty of dining choices a couple streets behind the hotel. For business or leisure I would come again.

Acceptable size room, window overlooking a hotel next door and a park to the left. Lace curtains were not installed in our room, we missed them during the daytime as that meant we had to draw curtain and use electric light. Bad checkin and checkout experience in an old hote

Stayed here for a family wedding fir 10 days but the check in took horribly long, and smoking smell in the room for the last few nights even though none of us ever smoked; asked for a late check out at noon for the last day but was told to pay $500 NT! Facility outdated and smelled stale and the elevators very inconvenient as mostly unable to reach the hotel floors; some employee very experience but some obviously inexperienced; Taiwanese hotels usually have excellent service even if the hotel hardware could be old but this one is definitely subpar; as an ONE WORLD EMERALD highest status member I would not recommend this hotel again
