Excellent.

This hotel is absolutely excellent, especially when you consider the price. Right in the middle of town with literally a one minute walk to the main square. Tidy bathroom, comfy bed, friendly staff and it even includes breakfast. I will definitely return.

Excellent hotel, if too hot.

The hotel is in an excellent location in Ypres and for the price was great! My single room was large and had a bath (which was a great advantage for me as I was on a bike riding holiday and able to ease tired legs in it). The breakfast was plentiful and the staff friendly. The bike storage room was great and safe. The only downside was my room was far too hot, so I struggled to sleep both nights I stayed.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, situated right in the main square and just steps away from major attractions—making it an ideal base for exploring the city. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast offered each morning was hearty and the coffee was good. The rooms were clean, but the overall décor felt somewhat dated and dim. A few updates or brighter touches would go a long way in making the space feel more inviting and comfortable. Overall, a pleasant stay in a prime location with wonderful service.

This stay was due to a last-minute change of plans. We had a room with three single beds and they were comfortable. Parking is a rare commodity in this area. It was a 5-min walk over cobblestones from the lot to the hotel. The location is good, we were there to visit the Flanders museum across the street.

Wonderful welcome from an efficient and helpful Receptionist. Room beautifully clean and well equiped. Breakfast outstanding! The hotel is remarkably close to the centre of town and no more than 10 minutes slow walk tk the Menin Gate. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this excellent hotel. We will definitely return.

Fantastic! Great room. Perfect location. Ypres/Ieper is a town that is part of our human fabric. Yummy breakfast. Staff was super nice, I'd stay there anytime. If it wasn't about freedom every Canadian should be forced to go there. 8:00 pm at the Menin is sacred. Beautiful town, by accident went to a church service at St.Martins, good reflection.

Great view from our top floor room directly above the main square. Was quite noisy but not the hotels fault as it was so hot we had to have the window open. The lady on reception was very efficient and polite. Breakfast was good, the usual buffet affair, but as much as you wanted to eat. Great location literally seconds walk into the square.

Love Ypres

We had to park the next street over from the hotel, we couldn’t get the wifi to work and the staff fixed it immediately, the street was quiet once the fair finished in the main square. The room wasn’t large but very functionalable, for our 1 night stay. There are plenty of place to get food and drinks within a 5 minute walk. It was only a five minute walk to the Menin Gate, which unfortunately for us is being repaired and we only got to see the inside. Ypres itself is a beautiful town. The photo is the view from our room

Could not stay at this hotel. No staff on arrival which was 7 pm. It was unsafe from our point of view. We left and stay else where. I expect a refund.

Breakfast was good and service was great, but the place needs some updates. The floor near the window in our room was damaged, the TV did not work (turned on but the picture was skewed on every channel). The towels were very old and almost threadbare, the sheets were rough and the pillows were very thin. The staff was very helpful in telling us where to park offsite.

This property is disgusting. The rooms are not cleaned, the bathroom is absolutely filthy. No one at reception, room keys for guests just left in an open reception where anyone can walk in off the street and access the lift to the rooms. Could not stay in such a disgusting accommodation.

The room I had was fairly large but when in bed it was not possible to turn the lights off from the bed. The main light was a heating light so rather too hot for summer albeit a bad summer, The bathroom was a 'wet-room' layout so after the shower very difficult to use the loo as it was flooded. Breakfast was fairly limited but ok.
