The hotel was solid and the location excellent. The rooms were very smallโ€”personally, Iโ€™d say just right for one personโ€”but the price was fair. The internet connection was strong, although it took a bit of time to connect, and the receptionist was helpful despite not speaking any English. Just a heads-up: the hotel is somewhat hidden, and the location shown on Google Maps is incorrect. (This isnโ€™t the hotelโ€™s faultโ€”GPS data in China is generally scrambled.) Iโ€™ve attached a picture of the building to help. Once inside, ask the hotel reception for the name; the actual hotel is accessed via an elevator in the adjacent building and occupies only the third floor. Itโ€™s a bit tricky to find at first, but once you figure it out, everything runs smoothly.

The reception and employees a disaster. They took more than 30 minutes to find our registration on a PHONE, they did not have a computer...Same happened with the WiFi, when we inquired about it, they always responded "later", we had to go twice to the reception for that, and finally, after an hour, they came to our room, asked for our phones, and connected it. We communicated via translator device and asked for the address of the hotel, (the taxi had a hard time finding it), they would not give us the address, always the same response:"later". We we went out, we realized that the address was wrong, the hotel is NOT on Beijing Rd, it's on a street south of that, almost half a block from Beijing Rd. When we left, asked for a taxi to the airport, they phoned for one, took a long time to confirm it and finally tried to scammed us with the price. We hired a taxi ourselves and paid half of the price they had asked. We had trouble from the start, specially because of the wrong address posted, and what followed was not better. We do not recommend this hotel at all. On the other hand, I think part of the HOTELS.com responsibility is to make sure that the address posted on the page is the correct one.
