My husband and I were the very first guests at this newly opened Holiday Inn Express & Suites on May 23. We stayed through Sunday and had a fantastic experience! We were greeted with a complimentary goody bag and warm welcome from the General Manager, A. Georgy. Our king suite was spacious, modern, and well-equipped with a safe, fridge, and microwave. The continental breakfast was delicious, and the front desk attendant, Samantha, was especially friendly and professional. The hotel is just 25 minutes from MetLife Stadium and the American Dream Mall, and not too far from NYC—making it a convenient location for both events and sightseeing. Plus, it’s right across from a brand-new plaza with a huge Super Walmart and other stores. Highly recommended—we traveled from Maryland and would definitely stay again!

Enjoyed my stay at this new hotel!

I recently stayed one night at this new hotel, which opened in May, and it was great! I usually stay at the Hampton Inn down the street, when in the area, which was recently renovated (upset they removed jetted tubs!), but this hotel is new and was a better value when I booked and if the price is right will be my new hotel when staying in Linden! It was a bit odd they called me around 3-4pm, to confirm I was still coming, I still had a 3.5 hour drive to make from home, confirmed my stay, and was worried they gave away my room or something when they called. When I arrived, the woman who had called checked me in, and she was great, very friendly, and quick! I had room 404, it was mostly quiet, and further away from the main road. The only issue I had was the toilet kept running, and as it would fill up, it would empty/flush every 15 or so minutes which was annoying. I also found a long dark hair in the hand towel by the sink. Otherwise the room was clean and brand new/great condition! The AC worked well, as did the fridge, bed was comfortable, and plenty of pillows! Breakfast was very busy, I arrived around 9:20 and everything was wiped out, but staff were quick to refill everything, and there was even bacon! At checkout, they blocked off the coffee machine, so I couldn't get one for the road. Breakfast was great though and tasty! I would recommend this hotel to others as it is new, clean, great breakfast, friendly staff, and will stay again some day hopefully!

WORST HOTEL STAY - DIRTY SHEETS. LOST MY DINNER.

I had an awful stay at a new hotel that didn't live up to expectations. The room was disgusting, with dirty sheets covered in pet hair. I only noticed the pet hair after sitting on the bed in black clothes, which were immediately covered in it. This showed the hotel doesn't clean or change sheets between guests—just remakes the beds. I was also unaware pets were allowed, and it was disturbing to realize no effort had been made to clean the room before my arrival. I chose this hotel because of its glowing reviews, expecting a clean facility and good service. Unfortunately, the experience was far from that. My flight was delayed, and I had arranged with the hotel to have my food delivered and held for me, but when I arrived at midnight, my food was missing. The receptionist, Wali, was helpful, but no one could explain where the food went. It either got thrown away or eaten, but the hotel staff didn't offer any solution or compensation. Over the two days, I had to chase them for answers. They eventually confirmed the food had been delivered but didn’t want to address what happened afterward. When I checked out, the manager and receptionist apologized but never reached out to me proactively. Their lack of concern for customer satisfaction and failure to resolve the issue left me feeling like they weren’t invested in retaining customers. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.
