It’s fine for a cheap room, but there’s a lot of lingering smells and rough repair work in the rooms. The ac units also should probably be checked for bacteria growth (they have a very odd smell.) Otherwise staff was friendly and available.

Cozy, family-owned motel is right value.

The low price brought low expectations. They were exceeded. The room was nicer and cleaner than i expected. Even the family who ran the establishment made me feel welcome. It helped that this was Independence Day, and they invited me to celebrate with fhem. Nice and hospitable. All promised featires delivered.

The facility had a noticeable smell to it, and is quite isolated in location and difficult to get into considering the fact semi trucks frequently park near it. Actual room itself was fine, but the shower was disgusting and no toilet paper was given in the bathrooms.

Over priced

Very poor condition and bugs and flys, all over the room roach's dirty floors. Deluxe no TV in room bugs no toilet paper no bed covers only sheets. No clean tub again bugs . Please don't go unless you don't mind being dirty.

Never stay there

We walked into the looby and the staff was very nice but it smelled very dirty and icky. Then we made our way to our room which we took the stairs for and the stair well smelled like absolute fish and nastyness. We got into our room and there was exposed wire in the room. Rat traps. Marker on the morror. Dirt on the rags. Flys everywhere. What looked like come all over the wall.

Less than optimal motel/hotel

I did not stay at this hotel/motel due to the uncleanliness. I went and retrieved my deposit and gave back the keycard.. They should not rent that room to anyone so long as it was that terrible. Rather than ask for a different room, I left. The whole establishment was terrible.

Only stay here if you really can't afford anything else. Very very low end. It was extremely minimal, didn't feel completely clean, a light didn't work, trash bins outside were all overflowing. My room reeked of smoke and the "office" smelled. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe so I left.

Horrible experience

Pulled up to the hotel and it was very hard to find behind a truck stop. Check in was horrible, rude and felt like he didnt want to be there. Got our keys went to check out the room and hit with a horrible stench. Closed the door and demanded a refund which conveniently he couldnt figure out. All in all a horrible experience. Also lots of cats and dogs sraying here as well as a lot of trash around the property.

BED BUG INFESTED

It was nasty, roaches in the tub, bed buggs. I was only there for an hour and got EATTEN up laying across the bed. Had to check out immediately.

1) the tub for showering was filthy! The shower valve was caked with soap scum. 2) the handle for the shower was so loose that it fell off in my hand. 3) the wifi ONLY worked in the hotel lobby. It couldnt connect from within my hotel room. Extremely inconvenient! 4) my opinion: this property should be demolished. It is old, rundown, and neglected.

No part of this was good. It was very much mid portrayed on the website. I got to the hotel to find people doing drugs and fighting in the parking lot, a person being rolled out on an ambulance because of drugs, and as I was walking up to the hotel with my two children, ambulance and police workers approached me and told me it was unsafe for me to stay there. And of course I didn’t stay in an unsafe place but my money has not been refunded either. This is ridiculous.

A miserable stay

When I arrived, it took over 30 minutes for anyone to get to the front desk to check me in. Once I got to my room, I was immediately swarmed by flies, which were a persistent problem throughout the stay which I tried several ways to get rid of. Nothing worked. Towels and sheets were still wet from the wash, I saw several cockroaches. The fridge was too dirty to use, the TV barely worked, the sink had no hot water, mattress and pillows were horribly aged and heavily yellowed/stained, and for some reason the shower was lightly painted with house paint. Outside, the truck stop at the entrance frequently blocks the entrance, and I was nearly hit several times by truckers not watching where they were going. Don't stay here, it's not worth your dignity. I won't feel clean again for a while.

The location was scary. Someone was being carried off on a stretcher when we drove up, which appeared to be a drug overdose. It looked like rooms were being rented out by the hour based on the people lurking outside. They required a $50 cash deposit up front, which we were not aware of. The room reeked of smoke, the bed sheets were dirty, and the pillows were brown. There were no towels, not that we would have used them if there were, everything was so dirty. We had to stay, because we were in town for a baseball tournament that ended late and started early the next morning. And it was Indy 500 weekend, so there was no place else to go. But if we'd had any other option, we would have taken it. We went out and bought blankets to sleep on, towels to use, and air freshener to help us endure the smell.

When I got to the property I just knew the whole thing was gonna be bad, when I checked in the receptionist told me “if water gets in let us know because it’s been happening to everyone, just don’t use the new towels that are for you guys” another red flag, when I got into the room the room had a very bad smell, the bed sheets were dirty and the “clean towels” that she was talking about were all stained too, the restroom sink had a dead bug, the shower itself was very dirty the tub was yellow and almost like the material was crusting off of it, the shower heads were filthy,

The sheets and towels appeared to be clean but thats the end of it. There were visible bugs hanging out on top of the bed and others flying around the room. One peek at the mattress itself and I left. The whole property is run down and the rooms are beat up, I could live with that but I am not going home itchy or bringing bugs and bites with me. This is not a place where one could feel safe of comfortable spending a night. I didn't even bring my bags in from the car. Don't stay here. I am not a fussy traveler I did not expect much from a truck stop motel but this place is beyond the pale.
